O’Carrolls Irish Tavern — Restaurant in England

We understand the owner's own both the bridge inn and pennyweight . We have been to both several times and cannot fault either of them.our first time at hole in wall. Basically ordered 2 meals . The main concern was the parmo meal . The portion size of the parmo was tiny the size of a palm of hand.. And to top it off the topping didnt cover it all . This was by no means a 12 pound parmo . Shown other friends the picture and they also agree

To be fair the male waiter was great . He understood and told managment . TheyOfferd a desert or free drink. But yes its free but lets the hole experience down for me if the meal is not what it should be . Id rather have a nice meal then a free drink or desert . We will stick to pennyweight . Thank you to the waiter thou you where great.

A great bar to sit outside and enjoy the summer months with a beer,sorry for the 3 stars but a couple of easy changes would make this a 5 star for me. The plastic lattice work tables outside NEED a solid cover (glass, plastic etc) as they are currently a wobbly unstable surface that are unsuitable to put a drink on safely. GET WIRELESS PAYMENT SORTED!!!! Carrying cash and cards is now a thing of the past….APPLEPAY (and similar Tech) RULES!! I’ve passed this bar by a number of times now even though I wanted to sit outside and have a drink and meal simply because im only carrying my mobile phone expecting to use Apple Pay like almost every other bar in town!! Just please get wireless payment and a solid table to put my drink onto outside and you will get 5...

Went in looking for a drink and quick snack only .got out drinks fine along with menu .sat waiting and waiting for assistant to order .so decided to go ask .we then got oh the food now not being served .oh we said in dismay .rather rude of them not to come along to us both and politely say this. So drank our drinks.i personally was quite annoyed so as my Husband visited the WC I asked the staff what happened to the food seeing as you brought us a menu straight away as we came in and you told us food was still being served .her answer was .the cook was I'll and had to go home .fair enough but manners for her to have come and explained this to us .rather than us sitting there waiting to order then us having to ask .
