Absolutely delicious... I ordered to take away chocolate and almond croissants, cinnamon buns and a hot chocolate. The kids were very excited when I told them what I was bringing home for them. They were very impressed and thoroughly enjoyed the food. The shop was small but provided ample seating. The staff were friendly and helpful and it was steadily busy, which is always a good sign. Such treats are good for once in a while as they are costly but that was my only picking point. Will happy visit here again, next time I have to travel for work.

Lovely bakery and coffee place, nice and vibrant atmosphere, an amazing smell of pastries welcomes you in the shop, both savoury and sweet, and great flavours too. It is possible to take away or enjoy your food in (great WiFi signal in place too), also a nice outside area is available if the weather allows it. Would definitely recommend and go back there next time I'm in Marlow! Thanks GAIL'S ❤️

A Great Bakery with a Greater selection of Breads and pastries compared to other bakeries around. The Chicken Pea and Bacon Hand Pie was very good and would definitely come back again to try the other savory pies. The Pistachio & Raspberry bun on the other hand, was absolutely exceptional, one of the best pastries i have had in the area.

GAIL’s Bakery in Marlow turned out to be the perfect place for a restorative pause during our day. Nestled right in the charming high street, the bakery has a welcoming atmosphere that immediately draws you in. The décor is light and modern yet cosy, and the staff were attentive without being intrusive, which made our visit feel relaxed and unhurried.

We stopped in for tea and a selection of buns and pastries, and every bite lived up to expectations. The quality of GAIL’s baking really shines through – the pastries were flaky, buttery, and freshly made, while the buns struck the right balance of softness and flavour. Accompanied by a proper pot of tea, it made for a delightful mid-morning indulgence. What impressed us most was not only the variety on offer, but also the sense of consistency. It’s clear that the bakery maintains a high standard across everything they serve, whether it’s a simple scone or a more elaborate slice. The counter display was both tempting and inspiring – the sort of place where you feel spoiled for choice. The seating was comfortable, with enough space to enjoy a conversation without the background noise becoming overwhelming. It proved to be an excellent spot to recharge before heading out for a countryside walk. By the time we left, we felt refreshed and energised, which is exactly what we were hoping for. All in all, GAIL’s Bakery Marlow is more than just a quick stop for food – it’s a pleasant experience in itself. If you find yourself in Marlow and need a place to enjoy good tea, outstanding pastries, and a bit of calm before continuing your day, this bakery is absolutely...

Really dissatisfied with our visit on Saturday, Marlow is a reasonably high end tourist village in Buckinghamshire with some excellent businesses offering a great experience. Sadly I can’t include Gail’s after the weekend visit. We arrived just before 2pm and took our seats at a cheap worn out table and chairs dining area. We ended up being the only customers at one point. The air conditioning was suitable and welcome. The food we ordered, one quiche and one pastrami bagel along with one small sweet treat. Drinks had to be bottled because they couldn’t accommodate any of our drinks requested ( milk shakes). All the food was stale and the server then proceeded to dispose of the food within minutes of our purchase which cost almost £30.00 When I mentioned our food was inedible the server was uninterested and subsequently went into the kitchen laughing and pranking around with his colleague. In true British fashion, we left everything and exited very disappointed and vowed never to...

A Complaint service Gail in Marlow : Light lunch accompanied with pepper mint tea and espresso ordered together. Instruction passed on to the person in charge with hot drinks. My husband waited of the drinks for so LONG nearly an hour) no calls been made, food was getting cold. I saw my husband keep waiting but the lady keeps making a drinks passes on the new costumers and not for us. Until I enterfered.... It should have at least two staff making a hot drinks on during lunch time and or during busy hours to met the costumers needs ....the lady who is serving hot drinks made a mistakes handling drinks to the other customers and this can be alarming in terms of customers allergies. She also blaming the amount of...
