Bring back Ozone! We’ve had many spa days and overnight stays at seaham hall for years. We were slightly disappointed to find that the previous Ozone (Asian fusion) restaurant had been changed to Geko (japenese) but were open minded to try as we love food. Sadly it didn’t live up to our expectations and we couldn’t help but compare to all of the fantastic food that previously was on offer in the previous restaurant. There was a supplement on so many things now. In the old restaurant a steak supplement was around £8pp. The supplement for a steak here was £20pp. And it didn’t even include a side for that price. And sadly in the old ozone restaurant the steak meal was of a much better quality. It’s really sad as we adore seaham hall but the restaurant has definitely let the side down. We are always so excited for our meal when we dine here, but we were left disappointed. It is a very specific cuisine leaving no variety for people who maybe aren’t so keen on japenese food. It’s with sadness that we may choose other places to visit now as the food is a massive part to our experience and we just didn’t enjoy it like we have done in previous years when the restaurant was ozone.

Came for a twilight Spa on a Tuesday night. We were initially booked for March but due to lockdown we had postpone it. We had a 2 course meal in the ozone restaurant included in this. We were booked in for 6pm but arrived to the restaurant early which wasn't a problem. We got seated quickly and had our order taken fairly quickly too as it was extremely quiet in the restaurant. We had an option of either starter and main or main and dessert, we both went for the dessert option. Food arrived quickly and we both thoroughly enjoyed it. The portions for the mains were huge which is always a bonus!! I had the beef pad Thai followed by the cherry bakewell cheesecake. My mam for the chicken terriaki stir fry with rice and the sticky Toffee pudding. Although it was lovely, we would only come again if it was included in a spa day as we both thought the prices were extremely expensive if you were going for the meal alone.

Relaxed place to have some great food after spoiling yourself at the spa. It is a Pan-Asian restaurant, serving a spread of Thai, Chinese and Japanese food. The atmosphere is relaxed, especially of you're decked out in your robes straight from a massage or a chill in a hot tub. The prices are reasonable, considering the quality and attention to detail. The service is exceptionally good, with a professional attitude displayed by the wonderful staff.

Our stay at Seaham Hall was exceptional. The personalized attention from each staff member made us feel like the only guests there, a rarity these days. The spa was outstanding, earning a perfect 10/10 rating for its high-quality treatments, attentive staff, and exceptional cleanliness.

However, our experience at the Ozone restaurant was disappointing. The Schezwan beef noodles had an overwhelming amount of onion and little else. The squid starter was fine, but overall, the meal did not justify the price and resembled food from a chain takeaway. Additionally, guests attended the restaurant in robes during the evening. While we understand the convenience during the day, an evening dress code of formal smart casual attire may better suit the 5-star ambiance and maintain the high standard that Seaham Hall excels at in...
