Greggs — Restaurant in England

Getting better. If you are lucky to be served by the older generation you get what you order. If you are served by the younger staff, you ask for one thing and they interpret it as something else. None of the bakes are on the right shelves with the correct corresponding labels. Have gone in there today and a customer in front of me has ordered a lot of items including a drink. He asked for a bag, to be told it would be 10p! Seriously, he either squashes his food and drops his drinks or pays 10p.....for a paper bag which is recyclable . I might also add that the young person serving him was as friendly as a rabid dog. No smile, the body language was sloth like as if everything is too much effort. If it wasn't for the fact that this Greggs is convenient for a lot of people I'm pretty sure that other than the workers in the week who are served by mature, happy, friendly, helpful staff this just...

Plenty of staff out the back, but they will always leave 1 person on tills even when queue is going out the door. So can't nip in for quick sausage roll or pasty as they always focused on making baguettes out back when shelves full of them and people all ordering bacon rolls. ( better quality at subway imo ) then people not listening when called to collect food at counter, sit down and pretend not to hear staff so staff have to come out and walk it over to tables. If they gonna act like that then leave the food on the counter until they decide to stop being so ignorant and get off their butt's, especially when they can clearly ser huge queue waiting next to them.. ignorant user/ deliveroo drivers aswell just march to the front of queue lashing phones at the staff faces even when see they are serving customers. But they just interrupt them, then customers in queue have to wait...

This Greggs is the worst one I have ever been to. Used to go every Saturday around 10am and I’m always met with the same nonsense.

The staff in there are extremely rude especially the manager. They never say please or thank you and never make any small talk. Very unprofessional.

The shelves are always empty literally every single week they are bare. The staff will tell you 20 minute wait for a sausage roll.

There is always 3-4 staff working in the back with no conviction just chatting enjoying their time whilst 1 young women will be alone stressing on the till with 10+ people in the line going out the door!

The whole experience over the time this greggs has been here has been torture. It’s now gotten to the point where I don’t even consider greggs anymore because of this one branches shortcomings and I just go to subway next door where the staff are very friendly and...
