Subway — Restaurant in England

I tried to order a foot long Italian hearb and cheese, chicken and bacon melt (as per my usual order). I was told they only do this on white or brown bread. I asked can I have it anyway and was told no because of the way the toast it (WHAT!!). They literally toast everything the same way and I'm sure their company moto is "have it your way", or something to that effect. I'm usually up for the confrontation when ordering as I was once told I had to order a chicken ceser and add bacon, due to menue change, which I didn't mind as I ultimately got what I wanted. This curve ball confused me so I went for the bbq baller (which wasn't nice) on my preferred bread as it peaked my curiosity while waiting in line. I wish I'd walked out of the store there and then as I now feel as though the girl has won the situation....

Update 5/11 purchased subway after 5pm. If you get the skinny brown hair lady BEWARE. She didn't toast my sandwiches at all, and the service was very poor. I thought she had a bad day, so I left it. But now my stomach hurts from eating her sandwiches because she didn't cook them properly. For the extortion price on a footlong I expect to have a decent service and a food that doesn't poison me....

I'll never risk to buy from here again. Would rather drive an extra 15 mins than get the undercooked food and bad service and bad stomach again...

I ordered a BLT extra bacon and mayo. No mayo in it at all. My friend had a spicy Italian with all salad and sauce. It came out with just pepperoni. No salad or sauce My other friend had meat ball marina and it came out with pepperoni in when he specifically said no to pepperoni. The ladie creating the order cudnt be bothered as she quickly sat down to eat her food. The ladie taking the money had to apologise. Disgusting service appalling we WONT be returning as this cost...
