The first impression when entering a place plays a huge role in whether you'll stay or not, and I believe it accounts for about 50% of the experience. This café is one of those rare spots where the concept invites you in 100%. It’s clear that every item in the café has been carefully selected and thoughtfully designed. The overall ambiance is soothing and calm, creating a harmonious space that makes you feel at ease.
We tried two different pasta dishes, garlic bread, and a salad, and everything was absolutely outstanding—not only in taste but also in presentation and service. Unfortunately, since we arrived late, we weren’t able to sample the desserts or coffee, but as a coffee enthusiast, I can confidently say that their Italian coffee machine suggests they are excellent in that area as well.
This is definitely a place I would highly recommend to everyone, and I would have no hesitation bringing my friends or guests here. The owners and staff are incredibly friendly and warm-hearted, and you can tell from every little detail of the café that they truly love what they do.

Read moreThe downhill slide lately is a direct correlation of the adequacy of the manager there: a glorified bigot who was constantly making the staff uncomfortable whilst we have been there in the past. We have since stopped going because we have never had a problem with the servers whatsoever. I remember a mistake was made on an occasion which was COMPLETELY understandable and happens even in very well established eateries, and yet the guy holding the whip decided that this was the whole day ruined due to the server's fault, apparently. If they're still working there I would be flabbergasted as to why and can only hope that they're doing better now.
Clearly any decent management in the restaurant business would actually know to take responsibility for their own mistakes and show humility, which actually makes a place more likeable (take note, Gunero)!
The chefs are excellent and serve great food, the entire front of house team especially the waiting on staff deserve the best whilst they're dealing with the grand mal of management there. God bless the employees 💖 such a shame...
Read moreWe have just had the most amazing time at Gunero's for my birthday. We were greeted on arrival by thier amazing staff. We ordered our meals, Lasagne with Garlic bread as a side dish and Meatballs with spaghetti. Both meals were a very good size, so tasty and hot. As I couldn't eat all of mine I asked for a takeaway box. Nothing was to much trouble. Staff are so friendly and caring. Just before we left some music went on and over came one of the staff with a cake and candle singing Happy Birthday (together with all the other diners) It was such a lovely touch. I would definitely recommend Guner'o as a place to visit for a coffee or...
