Starbucks Coffee — Restaurant in England

This Starbucks is a gem used by gym members nhs patients, businesses for meetings and locals Sadly, it’s due a major refurb and this still hasn’t happened so it’s services are deteriorating day by day. The dishwasher’s been broken since pre covid, so takeaway cups abound. (Not recyclable in Bournemouth so a real environmental mistake )for a company as large as Starbucks There s been no ice available for about a month and the fridge has been broken for a couple of weeks so there’s limited food available. It’s extremely busy at times and as coffee is a premium price (as it’s a franchise in a hotel) It’s obviously making lots of money. The Village hotel has had its own refurb so Starbucks is way behind its scheduled refurb The staff are always cheerful and helpful despite the difficulties and when the till kept breaking last year, were under lots of pressure, but were polite and efficient, despite the difficult circumstances and customers frustrations. I ordered the new iced brown sugar oat shaken espresso and I was shocked by the way it came, I heavily regret not taking a photo! Not sure if they actually train their employees because my “shaken” drink came with three separate layers. Syrup at the bottom, oat milk in the middle and then coffee on top! I have no idea how an employee looks at a drink like that and think’s it’s okay to serve to a paying customer. I ended up throwing a substantial amount of the drink away because it was just a mess, I went to order an iced chai latte instead thinking that’s something they couldn’t mess up. Asked for a decaffeinated coffee as I am very sensitive to Caffèine. Saw the dark haired lady use the same beans being ground as the cafinated blend so I double-checked before drinking it and was told its 'what I'd ordered'...caffeine reactions & still very awake early hours of the morning so presume they couldn't be bothered to listen to the request for decaff and served regular coffee instead - Be careful if you have...
