Little Dessert Shop Blackburn — Restaurant in England

So as a location, really well done, design, layout, pretty nice on the eyes.

As you enter, the staff spoil things, if you went in sat down, took pictures and went, you should leave with a smile on your face - However - upon entering the shop, it was at best a quarter occupied, there is a concierge stand, but it wasn't occupied, so we walked in, as we went to sit down, a really young guy came over said " you need to come to the front so we can seat you", weird as we already had, there was no que, nor was it busy, but okay, so where did eat sit, exactly where we got up from !!!

He gives us the menus, roughed up looking things, and the prices, really pricey, so either they were charging customers for the cost of setting this place up, or they believed they were that good.

Basic milkshakes £5 go large extra, cream extra etc etc, so okay we go to order, and as we came in, 4 people were in the que, i get up to order, those people were still there, i was stood in que for 20 or so minutes before it was my turn with 3 people behind the counter, then it turns out it wasnt in fact our turn, they had messed that order up, only now did i realise there were 3 behind the counter, 2 on the milkshakes, and a server on our side, this server is now given a milkshake on a tray, so she picks the glass up, and starts bobbing the straw up and down with her fingers, up and dow, there was a gentleman stood in the corner, it turned out he was waiting for a takeout, he annoyed, says to the server, is that mine, if it is i want that redone, you shouldn't be putting your fingers on the straw like that, ", she just laughs and gives him a look and carries on, one staff member whom she was talking to, tells her to stop it, go and just give the shake, etc etc.

She just keeps on doing it, laughs and keeps talking, no-one seems bothered, her colleagues, then a girl comes over and asks can she have her shake, she takes it, the server clearly not upto task with her job, now that put me right off, i was all ready to leave, but the others said, convert it to take outs, we are taking them with, so after my order, minus mine, i wait a further 20minutes and wait right next to the till so our order doesn't get molested .

paying that much, you expect to be served un-molested food, as soon as i realised our order was ready i grabbed it and left, as i left i felt ripped off and used, not how we expected - how i expected to finish off the evening.

Now i will never return for 2 key reasons, bad staff all round, nd prices don't deliver on parr with what you get, the deserts were barely okay, the shakes didn't excite or feel moreish, so another bad experience to chalk up, but i look forward to never having that...

Awful experience, would not recommend at all!!!!! Order was due to be delivered at 22.40 at the latest. Rang twice and was told by 2 different members of staff that our food was 10 minutes away and the last staff member went as far as to say that the driver was actually stuck in traffic. My friend then called for the third time and was told again that the driver was 10 minutes away…she is a little more confident than me so asked them to check as it was now 11pm. After checking it turns out they hadn’t even sent the food meaning they had lied on the first two occasions and so easily without hesitation with the Second Lady adding on extra lies with saying the traffic was really busy. When the delivery did arrive (1 hour late) one of the items came without the ice cream making the dessert we ordered a massive let down. We called the shop again and the girl laughed and said they were closed now and nothing they could do. I asked for a refund and she laughed again and said I was to contact Uber for a refund. Uber are useless with refunding orders as I explained so lost out on £33. Not happy about being lied to and after a 12 hour shift working for the NHS, would have expected a little more professional courtesy. Zero stars…would have been better getting a tub of ice cream from our local shop. Thanks again for the terrible...

I can’t understand all the brilliant reviews. Maybe we came on a bad night? One of us ordered a Devils Touch Milkshake. It’s supposed to contain Ferrero Rocher and Strawberries. There wasn’t a single strawberry in there. When we asked the waiter he just said “yeah it comes with one strawberry” and then walked away. Another ordered a mixed berry smoothie. It tasted bland. Like a cheap slush from a corner shop. Another of us ordered a La Vita Sundae. There was no Rafaello in there as stated on the menu. The profiteroles also tasted frozen. The Sunny Specials were half decent. They managed not to mess them up. The ice cream tasted cheap though. When we were ordering the staff didn’t seem to be concentrating on their work. It looked more like they were all more concerned with flirting and messing around with each other. They kept coming to our table with the wrong orders. Very immature staff. They’ve clearly spent a lot of money on the establishment to make it look nice so that was quite nice, hence...
