Decent, filling and comforting food at a very cheap price served by some of the friendliest people you could ever hope to meet and if I was just scoring based off how service was, this would be five stars as they are just wonderful.

It is however clear the place hasnt been redecorated in a while, seats are comfy but tatty, the lighting is a little on the dim side and the general decor is a bit on the dated side.

Also while the food itself is decent and there are some items on the menu that really shine, the food mostly is okay and the sort of cafe-stuff you can find most places (fry up/shepherds pie/roast dinner etc). As mentioned before, its great if you just want comfort food or simple british staples but outside of that...

I’ve been dining here for years. Nice friendly family run this cafe. They serve coffee tea and cold drinks. The meals are a good price and your meals are cooked from fresh when placing your order. They have a good variety on their menu and you can have a cooked English breakfast to other choices on their menu. It’s very clean inside and has a WC for both men and women. I usually dine indoors so I haven’t had a take out but you can have just a snack inc of hot and cold sandwiches. The coffee is delicious there. Went in today for breakfast always eat here, was a hair in our food we asked nicely for a fresh plate and was told they could replace the beans where the hair was only, which then put us off the plate of food ! Then when she brought back the plate of food tried telling us it wasn’t a hair and that we was lying she never has complaints and then chucked the hair which was clearly her straight black short hair that she has uncovered while cooking food onto the floor! Rude and disrespectful she could of apologised and handled the situation a lot better than she did! Rude and I won’t...
