This business claims to be wheelchair accessible but isn't. This meant I came and had to leave humiliated.
They have a huge lip to get inside (wheelchair users need indoor seating as a priority because they get more cold than other people). No powerchair could get over the lip and if you get someone to pull you over it in a manual chair, your wheels risk getting buckled.
They have a disabled loo inside (if you could even get in) that if a wheelchair user used it, and missteered even slightly (which is very likely) they risk their chair falling down the stairs with them in it.
They put up a social media post with wheelchair accessible tables they were going to put in (unfortunately outside again!), that aren't wheelchair accessible.
The food does look good but I wish they'd take accessibility seriously as including disabled people is a legal requirement. Also it is horrible as a wheelchair user, being led to believe somewhere is accessible, and then be embarrassed and have to leave...

The staff are so friendly and welcoming - they clearly have great management and training in place. It has seemed very clean both times I've been in, and the food has been delicious. It was a little loud the first time, a morning visit and felt like a bar at night (suggest more ambient background music levels) but I was still able to relax and enjoy my visit. I'd also love the addition of loose leaf tea - it's well worth the extra bit of money vs cheap catering teabags in somewhere like this where you want a 'proper' pot of tea with your cake slice.
Thank you HSH, keep up the great work and...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreExtremely disappointing first visit for me. My family have been here a couple of times, and wanted to bring me for a valentines meal. Had a pre booked table, and we were sat down with no mention of items not been available. Went to order, no full breakfasts, tried again, no loaded fries. Sat down to look again, and then tried again, no ham and cheese toasties either. Got fed up of guessing what was on the menu, so gave up. Couldnāt take the kids away without eating as they were excited so sat and watched everyone eat before having to go and get a breakfast from somewhere else. Not a great first experience, and not one that will have me returning. 2 stars as the kids...
