Chef's. Kiss. Superb, as ever. Village Kitchen has become our staple stop-off between Northampton and Glasgow, what has become a regular journey. You guys REALLY know what you are doing. Service is calm, friendly and efficient. The space is warm, spotless and inviting. And the food. Oh the food. Divine mushrooms, (how do you do it?) beautiful tomatoes and perfect poached eggs. Came back cold again but my friend's a wimp and just nibbled the white toast!
