My husband booked a table for Chistmas day we arrived and sat at our table. We noticed that there was a set menu for £39.95 which was not advised to my husband when he booked as we would not have booked at such a price. Wehave been going out for curry for 20 years now and we always chose from the usual menu which works out not as expensive. We had no choice but to accept the price of the set menu as we did not have any alternative back up to eat. The bill came to £353 which was a unexpected shock as over the years choosing from the main menu came to approx £150. If we were told at the time of booking we certainly would not have booked and gone elsewhere eg Rushome where we could choose from the main menu at main menu prices. We also asked for our left over starters to be bagged up to take home 2 or 3 times which they didnt do. We also did not receive extra coca cola we asked for and were not sure if we were charged for them as we could not read the bill and the writing was terrible. All in all very disappointed and felt we were backed into a corner to accept an expensive menu and pay a very expensive bill Will not use this restaurant again on Christmas day you need to be upfront with your customers so they have a choice before they book

Ā Ā Ā Read moreTable of 5 for a 70th birthday. Arrived to a lovely welcome and no waiting round, ordered drinks whilst deciding on food. Mixture of starters can highly recommend the Tandoori Lamb chops which were unreal. Mains we had a mixture with rices (onion rice is so good) and Nana's. Kids had the Tandoori Chicken Sizzler. Food was so tasty and hot. The staff were so friendly and nothing was to much trouble. Stopped and took time to have a chat with us. At the end of our meal after we asked for our bill they brought out a cake with a sparkler on for my Mum which was a complete surprise and not expected at all. They sang Happy birthday to her. This really made her night. ,(It's little things like this that really make this place special) The bill was worth every penny for what we ordered and the service we...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreFull disclosure. I have been a regular diner at India Garden for a few years. Frodsham is blessed with a variety of Indian eateries, and I have tried them all. But, I always find myself back at India Garden.
The food suits my pallette best and I particularly recommend the tandoori lamb chops and chicken chats for starters, and for me, the chicken tikka Shahi and most of the keema sauce dishes have the twin tastes of lamb and chicken. All dishes are adapted to your wishes, the rice and breads are plentiful and prices are very reasonable.
Josh is the perfect host and the staff are very attentive, although I do tend to go on the less busy nights.
