Amazing! I have just enjoyed one the best sandwiches ever consumed, tender rare beef with few seasoned chips, melted swiss cheese and other bits, it was seriously tasty! Yes there is less of a selection under the counter compared with the previous owner, less specialty salads, pickles, quiches etc but in this case less is definitely more, what they do offer is excellent and the combinations they can create is mouthewateringly astonishing. In fact the range of sandwiches is greater than before and the sweet treats and pies are few but are all made with quality ingredients and as the expression goes, you get what you pay for, the mini steak pie at £2.30 is exceptional, it's true they don't have 5 styles of olives and 5 flavours of organic squash, but these guys know how to create fantastic food which will cater for anyone, unless they want 5...

Absolutely first class. The new owner and his team have nailed the reopening. The sandwiches are superb and excellent value for money with lots of filling in them. The new owner is trying to recapture the magic from the earlier days of the deli and has had support, advice and guidance from the original owners. You can tell this is the case as the quality of the sandwiches and fillings are like stepping back in time to the glory days. The new staff were also very helpful, polite and cheerful when I visited with an efficient way of making the sandwiches. We will 100% return and wish the new team all the success...

Not happy with the service here today. I came in around 1pm 3 customers were waiting 2 of them said to me "go ahead we've been served" so i moved down the shop away from the doorway. One customer got served , paid and left I turned to the 3rd customer. I was about to ask him if he'd been served when male member of staff abruptly & nastily said he was before you MATE.
