My friend and I had afternoon tea today at Villa Natura in Hessle and we both agreed that it was the best we’ve ever had ( and we’ve sampled quite a few afternoon teas at many places!) The staff could not have been nicer, the food was ready and waiting for us on arrival, and everything was delicious and fresh. This was despite the staff agreeing to fit me in as I left it rather late to book! There was no way we could finish all the lovely food, but the ladies kindly boxed up the remainder for us to take home. One tip: if you’re not familiar with Hessle, drive around to the rear of the Co-op. Big car park and you can usually get in there. Read moreI had my car booked in for a clean and took a walk into Hessle to find somewhere warm and welcoming for a bit of breakfast and a coffee. To my disappointment everywhere was closed which was strange for an early Sunday morning! I chanced the door at Natura as I saw someone behind the counter. Thank goodness it was Kym!! The cafe was actually closed, however Kym didn’t hesitate to welcome me in, make me the perfect Bacon sandwich and coffee, then to top it off she offered to let me take a book home with me to finish that I was picked up to read from their bookshelf!! The lady suggested cheesecake didn't realis it was £4 a serving was not at all impressed by the price or cheesecake.
