Junction 24 Ltd — Restaurant in England

I stop at this truckstop 3/4 times a month. Basically, it is the Cattle Market car park (hard standing with separate fidge area), if you arrive early, you have to park on the hedge line. Unfortunately, there is no fencing around the site and 3 entry points, so I did have concerns about load security, although there is cctv and security patrols, Unfortunately on the night of 08/05/25 more than a dozen trailers/containers were broken into. Although I had not heard of any incidents previously, until the easy access, fence and security is improved, I wouldn't stop here with a valuable load. Great value for money, snap or card accepted (don't know about cash), £11 food voucher included which covers alot of the meals in the canteen completely. Food selection and quality are excellent. Good standard toilet and shower facilities that are accessed by security code. The only negative is that the showers are push buttons, which last about 5 seconds, so you need to keep your hand on...

Had the worst English Breakfast ever anywhere in England. The service was atrocious. The lady serving me was initially reluctant to attend to me, pretending like I didn't exist; so when I didn't melt away, like she was hoping, she then coldly asked what I would like. I selected a "farmers breakfast", with toasted bread and sauted potatoes. I was served bread that must have been at least 4 days old and disgustingly tasting bacon and egg. The only thing that was acceptable on that plate, was the sausage and baked beans. The sauted potatoes were definitely the day before's cooking. I'm certain they have never seen a black person before and this was the main reason for their attitude. Would never set foot...

Firstly I was met with incredible customer service from the lady I spoke to today (Friday 20th sept 2024) which was initially why I had chosen this truck stop as she was informative on the phone about directions, facilities and spaces and the same in person upon arrival telling me clearly where things are and so on.

The toilets and showers here was clean and tidy but as for the cafe given my late arrival on a Friday this was closed but this is to be expected as a HGV driver.

Just over the road is a pub that serves good food and drink as well as hotels and shops within walking distance so this is a fantastic location for a truck stop that I see doing well...
