Honestly wasn't expecting too much as this place didn't have many reviews but this little spot surpassed my expectations.
The food was great, the curries (Chicken & Lamb Karahi's & Pakora Kadhai) were all on point, delicious, traditional & authentic Mash Allah, in fact easily top 3 I've had from anywhere in Blackburn. Seekh Kebabs (Both Chicken & Lamb) were flavourful & tasty, as was the Chicken Tikka & Malai Boti. Peshawari Chappli Kebabs were also pretty darn good in taste & were an nice big size. However not on the level of an Kismat Kebab House but definitely the best you're going to get In Blackburn.
Delivery was also decently fast given the time (Around Mosque finishing time) & the Driver albeit didn't speak English was still friendly.
I can't recommend this place enough, just give it a try & don't be put off by the lack of reviews. An hidden & underrated spot in the...
Read moreKarahi Kebab. This place is a no go for anyone who wants to drink water with their meal or even has a health condition such as diabetes. I ordered a large meal with my family to eat in at their restaurant. When I asked for water I was stared at and told to buy soft drinks so they could charge more. I do not recommend this place as they are also breaking the law by not offering to serve water for sit in restaurant eats. They just want to rip you off and sell you overpriced fizzy drinks with no regard to your health. They have no regard for anyone who could have a health condition and would not be able to accept sugar filled drinks such a a diabetic patient. They have a bad service and need to be boycoted if they continue not to offer water. Karahi Kebab you have a disgusting service by not offering water with any...
Read moreWe ordered the punjabi starter platter which had a selection of items and a lamb curry with naan. The curry and naan was excellent. The starters were hit and miss. Chapli kebab, fish pakoras and the chicken seekh kebabs were average at best. The chicken tikka/boti and wings were very good and juicy. The somosas were dead and the lamb seekh kebabs were poorly seasoned. Lamb chops were excellent.
The service was pretty bad from beginning to end. No real clue on customer service. Order taken after having to hang about for a while near the counter, no cutlery or napkins given and nothing at the end to clear the table. Had to go and hang about again to pay - and cash only with no option of card payments at all.
I'd have liked to come again to try the Karahis and other curry's but most likely won't bother due to the...
