KFC Warrington - Sankey Way — Restaurant in England

Came here tonight ...waited 12mins in the drive through only to be greated by a team member who was just sat looking at me.. ( no hello ..welcome .. smile ..nothing ) I said hello and ordered my first meal .. only to then be told "you cant have that, we've got no chicken on the bone" and a half folded piece of paper stuck next to the service window was pointed out to me ( which couldn't be fully read ). I thought ok these things happen and asked what substitutions are available in place of the unavailable items. " we don't make substitutions, you'll have to choose something else". I couldn't believe a company with boned chicken included in 90% of its menu, 1- wasn't informing customers before the order point and 2- hasn't put anything in place to offer their customers in place of unavailable items. I then found myself in the position where I couldn't order the meals I came out for as was ordering for a number of people and had no way of contacting them to see what they would have wanted in place of their original choices. Then I found myself stuck in a que for another 15mins as there's no other way out of the drive through once in it. Why wasn't there a team member greating customer's at the entrance of the car park area informing them before they find themselves in a one-way queuing system. This is something your competitors do offer to ensure customer service is met in these situations. VERY POOR customer experience EXTREMELY POOR...

Went to KFC in Warrington not far from the Town Centre at around 10.30/45 am. After first going into pounland also near the town centre just on its own almost apart from the KFC. It was one or two people at tables already been served so managed to get served straight away ordered a fillet burger with cheese meal. I had originally ordered it to eat in but had changed my mind anyway which was lucky as they served it as a takeaway in a bag. I had a brief conversation with the female staff member who seemed quite happy to chat away told her I had been in Warrington for the music Festival but was only their for the Saturday as I was going to another Festival on that day which was Sunday. I recieived my food to go so I put it into my bag & went on my way eventually eating the burger before walking down the road into the town centre. I ate the chips cold later at the train station, the burger was nice as usual a filled burger with cheese I always like the sauce on the on the burger a kind of maionase which tastes great. If it was possible to leave a 0 star review that would be the case. Myself and my friend have just been stood waiting for our food for over 25 minutes along with other people. We were stood right next to your counter, neither time were we told that our food was ready to be collected and both had been stood there for a while. At no point was there any communication from your staff about things taking a while to come out or what was going on, nor was there a simple 'sorry for your wait'.

After working in sales for a while now I can easily say that that was the worst customer service I have ever experienced. Not only that, the staff can't even put a lid on the drinks properly, even when being held on the way home they have both leaked through the drinks holder onto the pants and seat. I thought the drive thru experience waiting forever for each order was bad enough but tonight was beyond embarrassing for your company and retail in general!
