Two absolutely shocking experiences with this embarrassment of a restaurant in 2 weeks! Avoid if you want what you ask for,service with no bs and for your food to not run the risk of being contaminated.
Incident 1 -After arriving back from a family event late evening we waited to place an order at the drive through 15 mins before stated closing time, no one answered, drove round to the other windows no one answerered, customers in the shop eating, a customer in front of us had ordered and and collected their food at the drive through but for us..nothing.. we were completely ignored. My other half then approached the door of the restaurant and was told they were closed, we were waiting for 15 mins by which point they had indeed closed.. why not tell people whilst at the drive through that is was closed 15 mins before the shop closing so we could’ve gone into the restaurant and ordered before the stated store closure time??
Incident 2 this evening- similar thing again, sat at the drive through waiting to place an order, customer in front of us has placed an order on the machine which we could see, waiting to place ours- nothing yet again! Drove to the next window nothing, drove to the last window having learned from our previous mistake about to go into the shop, car in front waiting for their order. Once we got to speak to the woman in the window wearing a headset she told us that they were only taking orders at that window, how did the last person place their order at the machine in that case? She took our order, took payment then made us wait at the same window Which we could see her laughing and joking with her colleague, hands around her mouth and touching her face!!!
Said woman then proceeded to make our krushems (one of which was wrong!) then put the lids on and pick the straws up with her dirty hands. My partner called her out on this she apologised said she would make them again, but STILL didn’t wash her hands. Read moreThey are very rude in hete. Today I went in and was paying for my food with my card and the first time said not authorised So he said try again which I did and said the same thing. He then told me that they had been having problems with the connection, there was also a que in the drive through with the same problem. He said let's try one more time and again the same thing happened. Whilst this was going on the person in the drive through food was ready and asked if they had cash and they got so annoyed they drove away. I then asked can they provide me with a receipt to show that these transactions he said I'll just go and ask. He came back and said that if I brought my bank statement in and it had come out then they would refund it he then asked me to pay with cash in which I replied I have not got otherwise I would have done to stop all of this. He then in a huff tried to snatch my card to try again which I was having none of and said I will go else where. He was very rude throughout as if it was my fault, when a couple of people where having same issue, there was no need and certainly was not my fault and was only asking to make sure incase money came out and even that was a chore for him to ask his manager. I am also pretty sure when a transaction does not go through it provides a receipt to say not authorised. Read moreKFC is one of my favourite fast food restaurants, and I was pretty excited to see that they were delivering in my area via Just Eat! Unfortunately, I will never be ordering for delivery from here again.
Not so bad eating in, but my advice is never ever to order online here. Ordered for delivery from here 4 times now. First time was fine, second and third time they got the order slightly wrong (fries instead of corn) but the fourth time was my worst experience.
They got part of the order wrong, forgot literally half of the order (an entire meal was missing!), and it was all cold upon arrival. Called them to try and resolve this, and my complaint was met with a rather short and curt refusal to deal with it stating "we don't deal with it over the phone, call Just Eat". I did call Just Eat and got a full refund on the food, but unfortunately, this left myself and my partner unfed, hungry and frustrated.
On the plus side, the delivery time is fast but for me, that's not enough to make up for the mistakes on the orders and the lack of quality control and customer service. I doubt I will even eat in at this particular...
