What a fantastic first visit to this bakery and cafe. Was lucky to get a table, as it appears it is very popular !! Lovely that it is also dog friendly.

My wife and I plumped for a sandwich each and a cake. We also bought some sourdough to take home.

Both sandwiches were HUGE and very good value. I had ham / cheese and the missus had pastrami. The sandwiches were well filled and also had lovely pickle/sauces in them.

I had a pecan based cake - too much, so took some home. Lamination to die for 🤣

Our cappuccinos were also excellent - perfect. No burnt coffee taste which is often the case when poorly made.

A very relaxed atmosphere. Will return, perhaps next time even having a takeaway and sitting in the local Guisborough Priory which was...

Looked good from the outside but left disappointed.

Ordered a tea and flat white to drink, saw the waitress picking bits out of our milk with a spoon before it was brought to us. Flat white was more like a latte and was cold.

Ordered a “pistachio and white chocolate” pan au choc to share and upon cutting it in half one side had no filling whatsoever. The filling that was there, had no pistachio or white chocolate, it was just a measly bit of topping.

While waiting to be seated as a waitress cleared our table, another group who already had a seat asked to move to the table we were waiting for and we were put on their dirty table??

Staff attire was questionable and looked like hospital scrubs.

The crooks of the matter is you’re better...

Was in today for the first time and I was blown away by how amazing the bakery is! Full of great staff and an amazing atmosphere. Place was packed and the products tasted out of this world! I had the pastrami sandwich and the filling was fresh and full of flavour! I also tried 4 of the pasty products pistachio, salted caramel, brownie and custard.... Worth every penny! Me and the family tried them all and we cannot wait to go back! We'd heard great things about the place but didn't expect it to be this good! I'd advise anyone who is passing to pop in and give it a try! You will not be disappointed!

Thanks again guys and I promise you, you have our custom for life! See you all next time and keep up the...

Staying in Guisborough for a few days as a little holiday and me and my partner wanted to go get a dessert Went in about 30 minutes before closing and decided to get a smoars muffin and a piece of cake. Apparently the cake was something a local baker was trying and so we got it for free, and the muffin was a decent price considering the size Both tasted great. The muffin especially was very unique, was made of pastry instead of the usual muffin recipe with a lovely creme brulé top Looking forward to going in sometime this week for a proper sit down
