La Roma — Restaurant in England

Used to order from here probably about 5 years ago, was a decent place. Ordered from here earlier in the year and there were quite a few bits of bone in the parmo.

Ordered recently and the service was tragic, rang up 40 minutes after it was meant to arrive to be told 'it has just been sent out with a driver'. Still wasn't here nearly an hour later so I rang back up to ask where it was to be told it was delivered a long time ago, as the delivery driver was pulling up to the house. Didn't believe me so I answered the door on the phone and then got hung up on, I appreciate businesses can be busy but a little customer service goes a long way. Food was warm at best, pizza undercooked but tasted like it could've been nice. Chips were stale. Donner...

La Roma had no problem taking my payment before telling me that they had to heat up the oil from cold to cook a portion of chips. Waited near 30 mins for a portion and nothing else. Firstly charged me more than the correct price and only realised when I counted my change. Some notice if I was going to be waiting that long would have been great and I would have been happier going somewhere else. La Roma used to be great but the new owners have taken it downhill. Also just the cleansleness like putting jackets on the chopping surface. Who knows what the jackets have touched. And touching chicken, then chips with the same gloves. Doesn’t bother me but definitely not up...

Me and my partner ordered a takeaway from here, we ordered a Bolognese pizza, garlic sauce, a gravy portion and a meat feast burger 1/4 pounder with chips and no salad. When it was delivered we got the pizza with the garlic sauce and a tub of gravy only instead of my 1/4 meat feast burger with chips and no salad I instead received a 1/2 pounder cheese burger with no chips and salad in the burger. As this is not what I wanted I called up and asked them to send the burger I actually ordered and they said they would. This was 5 days ago and I still haven't...
