Rob and I got married at Helston Registration Office and then came for a celebratory coffee after the ceremony with our parents. The staff could not have been more accommodating, moving tables around to make sure we could all sit together despite it being really busy. The coffee/hot chocolate was delicious. Would highly recommend, thank you so much for making our morning even more special

We visited for coffee on a very wet morning. The cafe was doing a brisk trade - with many tables and chairs filled. Unfortunately the rain diminishes the view of the lake somewhat. The coffee and hot chocolate were very welcomed however. Service was quick - and the staff were helpful and polite. A nice place to stop at while visiting the area.

Feel prices are high service very good higher priced food very good lower priced items(food seems cheap for what you get for the prices £1.50 for a can of coke outrageous) drinks way over priced However clean and nice setting place gets busy That said I enjoy going there

We found the cafe closed last time we tried to visit, so we were looking forward to trying them out today. After a long, wet walk around Loe bar we were ready for sustanance. We got there at 3 and after ordering drinks, sat down to peruse the menu. Not much available for people with Coeliac disease though maybe the staff could accomodate. Sadly, the staff shouted from the kitchen that food is NOT available after 3pm. Understandable, as businesses do need time to clear up at the end of the day, but we hadn't seen any signs. What happened next has caused us to not return, and advise others to be careful. We watched as the staff member who had served us sweep the floor. As she went around the cafe, she used the same broom to sweep the dining tables, chairs, sofas and side tables. Horrified, I told myself she would wipe the down with disinfectant , or something similar. But no, she rearranged the flowers on the tables and straightened them out for the next customers! And watched by a colleague. Training regatding food hygiene and cleaning is clearly missing or ignored. At that point we were glad that food had not been available to us, and made a quick exit. A shame, as it is wonderfully situated...

Staff are lovely, food cooked well. You can tell we are in the summer as prices have soared. Breakfast is just short of 8£ and coffee is just short of 3£ and its tiny. The breakfast is small only one sausage for the price I'd expect 2 at least. Really takes advantage of locals who have to stay around due to watching kids. Could take A packed lunch but it's not possible due to having to sit around hours at a time. The owners need to have a word with themselves. Should introduce a local eCard which offers offers that only locals can get like most other places in Cornwall. Plus the owner have more then one local business and can be used within each cafe. Been again today and recieved smallest slice of cake ever and their looses leafed...

Came in at 1455 on Sat for something to eat and drink and wish I I hadn't bothered as we were clearly an inconvenience ordering at this time. Rather they just said they weren't serving food to be honest. Staff were rude and unhelpful. Was told the overpriced sandwiches came with a salad, however they came out with none and we were told the salad had all been packed away. 10 mins later they returned with something that looked and tasted like it had been in a compost bin for the past month, submerged in a greasy dressing. Won't ever order again, which is a shame cos the park and...
