Like Mum Makes — Restaurant in England

Well me and all my friends attend this cafe very regularly and sometimes there can be up to nearly 10 people. Everyone's food arrives hot and the waiting times are short. As a group we also have a sort of set routine in regards to coffee first, which is being prepared before we walk in. Then our breakfasts which are of a good portion and also prepared to satisfaction even to the one that is finicky (ie me). Then we all follow this up with a coffee and cake. I feel that the we all appreciate the atmosphere due to the fact that our group can sit and chat afterwards with no obligation to leave straight away. Also the final point I feel needs to be raised is that others have spoken about how happy they are with the toilets cleanliness which I totally agree with but noone has stated that the toilet is fully accessible for disabled people. I have never left a review for anything in my life, but I am today

Worst cafe I have ever been to. The food took an hour to come out to us and then upon eating it it wasn’t very nice, service was horrendous, it’s like they can only cook one plate of food at a time, only one plate of food was brought out at a time, a lot of customers sat in there for over an hour waiting for there food, customers asking for there money back as they have been waiting so long, only to be told it would be out in 5 mins, one customer was told 3 different things by 3 different staff member’s on there food, one said 5 mins, one said it’s just being put on a plate, and another stated that it was just started to be cooked, and the customers had been there 35 minutes already, absolutely terrible service and will not be returning, I can only assume the other reviews on here are friends or family that have reviewed...

The best English breakfast I have ever had . The service was amazing and everyone was very friendly . Food came within ten minutes of ordering and the portion sizes make you wonder how they are making money , it was absolutely stacked to the brim and it all tasted delicious.And to tony who’s review I have just read , I can confirm that I have no relation nor friendship with the employees or owners but I for one can definitely recognise a meal so good that it warranted my first ever review on google simply due to the fact that it was fantastic on all fronts.
