Lily & Rosie Cafe — Restaurant in England

This cafe may be off the beaten track but trust me when I say make the effort to find it, because it’s a cracking venue. I was impressed from the minute I got out of the car. I’m disabled but there is a fantastic ramp up to the door. There is plenty of seating with benches and chairs. The menu is extensive and daughter and I plumped for a Big Club sandwich and a Big Breakfast washed down with a smoothie and a pot of English tea with a tea cup. Nice touch. The food was excellent. The portions large. The service was impeccable and friendly and there was a nice buzz about the place in the lead up to lunchtime. Make an effort to find this place. You will not be disappointed. Lily and Rosie is my coffee stop whenever I visit the edge, or Wilmslow in general. The reason is that it's just slightly out of the way to enjoy the experience that you actually go to a local cafe for, and you're not swamped by scene searching tourists who are focussed on snapping the latest cars.

The cafe is excellent, the coffee is always a 10/10 and the service is efficient, informed and they are actually genuine people.

This fairly new and small cafe is a gem. Set about 1 mile from Alderley Edge centre it is well worth a visit. The owners are an extremely welcoming and nice couple. Their food is freshly prepared from scratch and beautifly presented. Cheesecake is divine . The cafe is spotlessly clean and welcoming. Prices are very competitive.
