Booked a big table for eleven in the garden for Sunday lunch get together with family and really enjoyed ourselves. Great service, and my sirloin beef was cooked perfectly; pink in the middle. Great Yorkshires, roast potatoes and veg too. My first time at the D&M but will definitely be back. Would recommend the Unicorn beer as well.

Great covid safe experience. Ate under a huge canopy. Table service fast and friendly and the food was just fantastic, best roast I remember with huge Yorkshires. Rest of food was excellent too. There was a canopied area a marquee and outside seating with parasols plenty of space. Will be back for sure!

Great pub for locals and others, serving Robinson's ale. Food is excellent and staff friendly and welcoming. Restricted menu but of excellent quality. Exceptional beer garden for both adults and children. Dog friendly is a bonus. Warning! This pub is hidden away and easily missed: use your satnav.

Hold tight it's a beauty

Soooooo..... We're to start. I met Nick in Altrincham one evening in my local. Nice normal chap who stated he was a city fan. Bull5hit!

Anyway after a few scoops bought by me he says he was the head chef at the drum and monkey at Alderley edge. Come in and ask for me you can have a Sunday lunch and you and Mrs just pay for drinks! Sound

7 weeks later text and ring to drop in yeah no probs!! Sweet see you in 40mins.

Hi its Adam got told to ask for nick ohhhh yeah please come in let's seat you and order drinks and we will send Nick out. Bull5hit never ever came out.

Ordered mains and tbf the cheese ND onion pie and chips was decent but my Mrs chicken in mushroom sauce was dryer than Nick The Greeks flip flop.

How was the food!?! Bcos we thought it was free we said zip. Yeah was lovely. Bill Please!

No discount no nick and two p!ssed off customers that won't eat there again.

Average at above average prices.

Booked a table on Father’s Day for 8 people. We were squashed around a table for 6. Ordered mainly Sunday roasts. I love rare beef but mine was still running around! It was cold and blue in colour. The roast potatoes were hard and I couldn’t even bite through the broccoli. I was surprised that the Yorkshire pudding was Aunt Bessie’s! Asked for English mustard and was given little sachets! One of our party ordered fish and chips but the fish smelled really bad. The waitress took it away and replaced it with a burger which was ok. They did knock his meal off to be fair. However, we got charged for a dessert that never came. The staff were lovely but unfortunately, the standards of the restaurant have gone down considerably so we will not...

The second time we have visited the recently " Drum " and come away disappointed . The first , two weeks ago we arrived at lunchtime on a Friday to see a small A4 note on the door saying closing at 2.30 for private function . We went in as only 1pm and asked for a table for 2 and were told " no food today as we're prepping for private function " ( when looked at note again it did say no food ) No prior warning by any other media . This Thursday we went again and asked to order off the Golden Years seniors menu " No we're not doing that any more " . I've checked the website again this morning 3 days later it is still advertised as being available. We ate off the main menu and the food was very mediocre anyway so perhaps no loss...
