Really need more lunchtime options. The range of sandwiches is fairly uninspiring and not hugely appealing to the health conscious, and providing choice for vegans, or those wishing to avoid meat, doesn't seem to be a priority here

If you want a salad instead of a sandwich, don't expect much. It's effectively just a box of leaves, and not even a range of different salad leaves. A salad is offered as an alternative to a sandwich (and charged at the same price) but is nowhere near substantial enough to count as a lunch meal - there's no carb alternative in any of the salads (no pasta, rice, couscous, quinoa etc) - and is better described as a small snack. The salads are certainly not value for money and you will be left starving

It's a shame because the produce seems fairly decent quality. The staff are friendly, the coffees are good and the cakes look amazing. I live 30 seconds from this place and work from home full time and would buy lunch from here at least once a week if they offered a decent and substantial lunch but I'm just usually left feeling a bit ripped off - after working in Leeds city centre for eight years, and having the choice of delis and sandwich shops available in the financial quarter, my expectations are higher than the standard offered here. It was ok, food was ok. Nothing amazing really. The till/payment system is particularly slow as hot drinks take time to make which holds up the entire queue, regardless if you have a drink or not. My tea turned up with sugar in despite me having said no sugar when asked by the vendor. My regular breakfast box was served as a large breakfast (3 of everything instead of 2 of everything) although I only paid for regular, some may think that a bonus but it was too much for me, so I left a sausage, bacon and slice of toast and I hate food waste. We have been in UK for 2 weeks now and trying to find a good "decaf" has proven hard. Went in this morning and ordered a bacon and egg bun and decaf espresso. The decaf was bang on!!! She took her time and made it perfectly, the bun was cooked perfectly, nice and hot. Best cafe in Harrogate hands down- their treats look absolutely Amazing! Highly recommend especially for the decaf. We will be back.
