Not sure what has happened to Macky Deez, but value for money it isn't. We bought 2 breakfasts with coffees at the St Austell restaurant, my wife ordered by the new (to us) fast track process, rather impersonal if I have to say but i suppose times are changing, not for the best sometimes I must add, only to receive what i can only describe as a tasteless almost inedible mess, my sausage & egg burger was almost comical in appearance with the sausage meat patty thinner than the paper it was wrapped in and dry that it was like eating sandpaper, the egg was like no other i have ever seen, molded curcular like a 1/4 size hockey puck and so rubberised it I am sure would have bounced like a super ball if accidentally dropped on the floor, the bread bun was so dry it was attempting to turn inside out exposing the hockey puck egg & paper sausage patty to the elements, as if they needed to dry out any more, leaving my hunger both visually & orally wondering if i had slipped into some sort of parallel universe occupied by cartoon people. The coffee was also not very coffee, i drink mine without milk or sugar admittedly the coffee aroma was that, of well, Coffee and visually it resembled Coffee but that is where the similarities ended, My Days! it was rough it was like it was left brewing on a stove for at least a day just being topped up with water when the pot was looking empty, the coffee taste had been eradicated from this cup many moons ago. There was a saying in my youth that the oldies used to say about people devoid of personality, well now i know exactly what they meant, this coffee was "dull as dish water" in fact if the cup didn't announce it was freshly brewed Coffee i would have thought it was straight out of the washing up bowl. So to summerise, MDoal*s (some letters missing from name to show what it would look like if you had to show what your breakfasts tasted like) Ronald must be turning in his box if he could wearing those enormous red shoes, you need,in my experiance to up your game i can't immagine that my experience was a one off and as a teenage meeting house your success is obvious but with what i was vended on this morning i can only say a score of 1 out of 5 is me being very over generous, Mucho Disgruntled, RA. ps My wife's egg and bacon was equally rubbish. DO BETTER PLEASE sometimes your establishments are the only choice a diabetic gets to grab a bite in...
Read moreIt's McDonalds so unless you're from another planet you'll be well aware of the food. As with all fast food, eat in, drive through, eat cheap, outlets the food can be Very Warm,.. Sometimes Barely Warm,.... Always Not Warm enough to drive more than 2 minutes up the road !! It is no different to any other McD. However, this one in particular has the most Stupid Parking Drive Through Route, etc. Accompanied by Awful Lighting !!! If Driving Through you go through the system & inevetively have to park whilst waiting for your food to be bought out to you by some poor youngster in all weathers. You then have to reverse out of your space, (This is where you Neeeed to sit in your vehicle watching one evening !!) whilst you are reversing, somewhere in the dim light Mum & kids are trying to cross the car park whist avoiding you as well as the other cars out-running death itself, coming from the Food not ready window !!! Nearby is another fast Food outlet using the same parking area. Whoever passed the plans for...
