Rather disgusting. Ordered food on the app. When food eventually came out it was just about warm and the order was wrong. Had to go in and ask for order to be corrected and for the missing sauces. Back in the car and having drunk most of the strawberry milkshake I took the lid off to slurp just about everything out of the cup…. Only to find a brown sticky residue on the inside with whatever else stuck in it. Went back in again and saw one lady who seemed concerned of our findings. She went and got a member of staff from out the back who first of all said it was just chocolate milkshake that leaks from the machine. After pointing out to him that regardless of what the residue was it shouldn’t be there and has been on there long enough to dry. That member of staff scraped some of the brown mark off with his nail and subsequently agreed that this should not have happened, he apologised and said he would go and speak to the manager. A good 5mins or so passed and the first lady we saw went to find out what was happening. When she returned she said that the manager is not going to do anything as I had almost finished the milkshake. The lady said herself she did not agree on the managers decision. And so this seems to me that the manager is not concerned about the cleanliness and food hygiene of the restaurant and has no interest in their customers either, as they didn’t even come and make an apology and ensure it’s something they will look in to. Got to the order point and gave them my order number and was told that my order was being prepared and to go to the window. I drove to the window only to be ignored by the never of staff dispite asking if I need to be here or the next window, so I drove on to the next window. I was then told I had to go back round and go to the first window (my fault I know). So I drove back round and told the person taking orders what had happened and that I was doing as instructed and coming back round. I was then told by a abrupt young lad that I can't do that and I have to collect in store and that they don't do app orders at the drive through. Read moreI've been to this branch of McDonald's a few times, however I've never ordered food. It's always been a coffee via the app to collect. They are unbelievably slow at delivering me a coffee when I'm stood waiting for it. I'm not sure why a simple black coffee is so slow to serve but overall I don't rate this particular branch. The carpark is very strange and when trying to exit you basically risk being hit by anything coming the other way as your view is massively obscured.
Pictures were taken around 9.15pm and as you can see there are no condiments or anything. You need to ask if you want some. This could be because the shop was due to close when I last visited. Either way, no customers in and I still had to wait a long time for a black coffee. I wouldn't be returning if I can help it. Access wise, it's the strangest McDonald's I've ever been to.
