No menus on the screens in the drive thru, instead an advert for the 6th coffee free when you buy 5 (yeah... just what you need on a hot sunny day) or the new chicken burger (if I wanted a chicken burger I'd have gone to KFC). First sighting of a menu was when you pull up at the order here point, as I was trying to decide from the limited selection on display I was constantly greeted (by a young lass who sounded like she seriously didn't want to be there) with "can I take your order, can I take your order, can I take your order" after I ordered a burger from memory that McDonald's sold them (as it wasn't on the limited menu of six items) I was asked "does that complete my order. Now I'm sorry but with only 2 people in the car today 1 burger doesn't really sound like a sharing meal does it ?. The next order was also from memory as again wasn't on the menu board of 6 meals, wrap of the day or mozzarella dipper box. Be great to see a full menu and make an informed choice!!!
May travel further afield next time I feel the need for a fast food take away... but I'm sure it won't be to this...
Read moreUpdated 2023/04/26: It gets worse... Now they don't even bother to supply the food ordered. The money has been taken and the order marked as "collected" and yet I'm still sat outside at the click and collect bay with a rumbling tummy after waiting 20 minutes.
Avoid this awful service/franchisee at all costs .
Once again it seems that this location is where the new staff are dropped into the deep end and left to fend for themselves. It seems that the newbies have little experience and no focus, so they drift around aimlessly, wondering what to do. Net result is a lot of waiting around, wondering why you can't go and collect your finished/wrapped food items yourself. If you're hungry, or or worse, hangry, go elsewhere.
Updated as requested by Google: As time passes, things seem to be getting gradually worse. Your order will be delayed due to what seems to be preference for UberEats deliveries. Instances of orders being wrong or things being completely missing have reached a point where I chose to stop visiting this...
Read moreI recently visited the McDonald's on Portrack lane and had a very unpleasant experience with one of the staff members named Dylan. From the moment I approached the counter, Dylan had a terrible attitude and was very rude to both me and other customers.
He seemed annoyed when taking my order and impatient when I asked questions about the menu. Throughout my visit, he made snide remarks and rolled his eyes when interacting with customers.
His behavior was unprofessional and created a negative atmosphere in the restaurant. I was extremely disappointed in the service I received from Dylan and would hesitate to return to this location if I knew he was working.
