McDonald's — Restaurant in England

Mcdonald's is the best place for quality fast food at a good price. They are committed to improve their service, food quality and environment. Continuously they are adding values in their business. The restaurant often found neat and clean, you can have a good environment all the time inside it. There are chairs for the babies, special zone for the children so that they can play and enjoy all the time. About food, I'll give full marks. Specially I love chicken wraps, five piece chicken selects, French fries, Coke and mayo chicken from Mcdonalds. Only thing I can ask them to add is chicken wings, they don have it right now. They have restaurants almost all important areas throughout the UK, especially in major cities. But, one thing to mention, I found some sort of service heterogeneity from the staffs in different times, even from different staffs in the same outlet. This is disgustiing. Once I got special treatment by showing my university card. But, at the same time, in the same outlet, from another counter my friend did not get any such discount after showing his student card. We talked about the issue, but the manager was unable to solve it, rather she get puzzled what to do in such situation. This is embarrassing. Great convenient location with fast food delivered by a courteous and helpful staff. I am 67 and really appreciate the genuinely kind help I have received by all staff that I have encountered. It's a tough high pressure environment which they always rise above. Many thanks guys well done!

Update 2022: Recently forgot my glasses and asked young lady if I could order at counter. Instead she suggested, to give me complete choice, she would accompany me to the order board and offer any help she could. We got the order done very quickly and she returned to the controlled mayhem that is so typical of a successful outlet. Thanks again. Personal service whilst under such great pressure is a very admirable quality. It should be complimented whenever encountered and I believe paying on the kindness only ever leads to better relationships, ie....

This McDonalds is always very popular with shoppers using the Asda store and local university students. The new layout including the seating area leaves no waiting area for customers collecting their takeaways. This morning was extremely slow service with many dissatisfied customers complaining how long the waiting time was. Poorly managed. Needs massive improvement. I am also aware that it is a national procedure now of assigning the receipt with a number and then that is called out when the food is ready to be collected, however with the restaurant being so busy many orders were being missed and taken back in to the kitchen area, this is not only very frustrating for the person who ordered the food but also a massive waste of time for the other customers waiting for their own food.
