This is a hidden jem to go when you fancy something incredibly tasty, fresh and a little spicy that is served quickly to your table. I'd only ever driven past this little place before and so when I was invited last week to pop by for a late night bite to eat I wasn't sure what to expect. The menu has clear and colourful photographs depicting each of their available dishes, which I'm a huge fan of. I chose a spicey noodle soup which was incredible. I've only tasted broth like it when travelling in Tokyo recently and I will definitely be back again to work my way through the menu.
There are some more obscure options of meats for your selection of you have a palate for that sort of thing, but there are also the usual suspects available to eat too. The portion sizes are really healthy so we all left feeling very full and satisfied.
The restaurant decor is very basic but this doesn't matter as it surely doesn't affect the quality or flavour of the food. I will definitely be returning soon to sample some of their aubergine and spicey prawn dishes.
The restaurant offers takeaway too if you prefer to eat in the comfort of your own home. You really must give this authentic...
Read moreI haven’t ordered from Little Asia for over 9 months as we are trying to kerb our takeaway spending. LA didn’t disappoint & never does.
I ordered chicken curry, Duck with ginger & spring onion, squid in salt & chilli and Monk Vegetables. It was all very very delicious!!
Food at LA is always tasty, flavoursome, authentic but not cheap. The lady owner is very sweet & friendly. LA has a good selection of dishes, proper decent authentic food and being Chinese myself many of the dishes in the “Hot dishes” are worth trying
When I’m craving dishes that my father used to make such as Monk Vegetables, pork aubergines hot pot, beef in black bean sauce Ho Fun or ribs in black bean sauce, Little Asia is my definitely go to place to get that type of dishes.
When I used to live locally, I would collect the food and it was always busy, with mainly Chinese clientele which is a good sign.
We have moved to Poole, tried few takeaway locally but nothing compares to LA
Absolutely highly recommend Little Asia,...
Read moreNothing bad to say about the food.... it's perfect... it's lots ... and tasty ... But it is cold inside the restaurant ... after a long day at work I would have expected to get into a restaurant ... take my jacket of... relax on the chair and be spoiled ... unfortunately it was cold inside there .. I needed to 2 glasses of red to get warmer ... and another thing was when I asked for salt and pepper ... and I was sent to pick it up myself by being pointed with the finger where it is ... .. I give 4 stars for food 2 stars for service ... so 3 stars in total.
