McDonald's — Restaurant in England

Used the McDonald's app to make an order which never arrived. Money has been taken as soon as I placed the order, then the only thing that I received is an update of the status in the app after 1 hour of placing the order saying it has been delivered. No one sent me any updates or made any call to say that the driver has arrived (If he even did?). I checked my mobile number in the order confirmation and it was correct.

I called the place and they said they can't help with it and that I need to call Uber Eats support. I paid McDonald's for the food and service and I still needed to contact other company myself to chase where my order is?

Uber Eats support was useless, the lady on the line could barely speak English and after 10 minutes of me hanging on the line and waiting she said that they can't see what happened to my order (??) and that they will issue a refund and I will receive a confirmation email.

After 2 days I received an email from Uber Eats saying "We are unable to proceed with compensation this time, in line with our refund policy." or in another words "Thanks for the money, but we have thousands of other customers anyway so we don't really care if you single individual had an issue or not. And food? - Oh, we sure you found something else to eat"

Feeling frustrated and disgusted with...

I am fed up with this mcdonalds. If I could put no stars I would. In the past year I have complained 4 times about hair in food, very staff, not getting what I asked for and realising when I get home and having half a drink and hardly anything in food. I know people would say why do you go back but when you complain and the mangers say sorry when you go back they do it perfectly so think the next time after this will be better. It never is they are rude and don't give a toss. I asked for a happy meal and some mozzarella dips and a strawberry Sunday in a mcflurry pot (this is because I hate the usually pots they come in as ice cream gets everywhere). When I got home I had 2 mozzarella when there is supposed to be 3, half a bag of cold chips (I live 5 mins away), a cold burger, a strawberry Sunday that had no strawberry sause in it and half a cup of coke that tasted watery!! I know they are busy but come on it's time after time and their customer service stinks!! I know it's not a 5 star restaurant and I'm not expecting 5 star service but what I do expect is the food I ask for and it at least warm wheb I go to eat it. THIS PARTICULAR RESTRAUNT IS RAN BY KIDS AND IM SURE THERE LOVLEY KIDS BUT IF YOU GO IN THE DAY THEY HAVE NO ICE CREAMS NO MILKSHAKES THE ORDERS ARE ALWAYS WRONG CHIPS ARE ALWAYS OVER SALTED "CONSISTENTLY!".FROM 12AM ONWARDS TIME AND TIME AGAIN THE TILLS HAVE CRASHED THEY NEED TO CLEAN AND TODAY MY PERSONAL FAVOURITE WE ONLY HAVE 2 STAFF SO WE CANT OPEN JUST TO NAME A FEW.HOWEVER NONE OF THE OTHER STORES ARE LIKE THIS BUT UNFORTUNATLEY ITS CLOSEST TO MY HOUSE FOR ALL WHO TOOK NOTE OF THIS THE NEXT CLOSEST MCDONALDS THAT ACTUALLY IS 24 HR IS COCKLEBEREY MCDONALDS ON GREAT WESTERN WAY NOT LEAVING THIS REVEIW TO BE NEGATIVE I JUST DONT WANT PEOPLE TO WASTE THEIR TIME DRIVING HERE LIKE I DO TO SPEND THEIR MONEY ON TERRIBLE SERVICE WRONG ORDERS OR IN THE MAJORITY OF MY EXPERIENCES RECEIVE NO SERVICE AT ALL BECAUSE THERE CLOSED FOR VARIOUS REASONS ONCE OR TWICE IS MORE THAN ACCEPTABLE BUT WAY TO POOR OF A SERVICE ON TOO REGULAR OF A BASIS !!!!!
