I am a frequent visitor of McDonald's as I go almost daily unless I fancy something different. No, not because I am a fat, greedy man but because I am disabled & can not cook for myself. Trouble is, countless times I have had to get out of my car, which is a mission of its own due to all the things I have to do that most people who are able bodied take for granted, I can't tell you how many times my order has been wrong or something is missing so I must go into the 'restaurant' to rectify this mistake(s) also the amount of times I have been to the Byker branch in Newcastle Upon Tyne & the Milkshakes or anything else made by those machines being unavailable. They claim the " Machine is not working " yet I have been told by several ex & current employees that it is due to people not wanting to clean the machines, as it takes a long time & more effort than they can muster. So if they are really broken that many times, WOW McDonald's really needs to go to a different manufacturer for their machines, you are losing £MILLIONS. If it's the latter, then again, you are losing £MILLIONS & paying those who are costing you millions. I don't know which one it is, but if I was CEO, etc, I'd sure want to rectify this immediately. Oh & why are the Fries always enimic? In the pictures, they look hot, crispy & and golden, but when I get them, they're Floppy, almost white & look warm. They never look like they do in the pictures. Nothing does to be fair, but they still taste good, unlike the Fries. I understand there will be those thinking why eat here then, If I had the choice, I would cook for myself but am unable to, that's why. The staff always sort my order once I go into the place, but my issue is, it takes far more for me to do that than the average person, & it's always that particular branch. One main issue I'd like fixed is that Shake Machine issue & maybe extra training on reading the screen & putting what it says in the relevant bags. I don't know if it is harder than it sounds, I have never worked back there, but it sounds simple enough, I don't...
Read moreHi, who do I talk to about a complaint. Ordered food for delivery on Sunday via the app which came from this branch. The food was stone cold on arrival so as advised on your app, i called and spent 20 minutes on the phone to uber eats who refused to refund the items that should have been hot because they delivered within 22 minutes. As I said to them more than once on the phone, I wasn't questioning their delivery times. The restaurant were obviously sending out cold food. The woman on the phone was no use and actually quite rude. I tried the head office customer services number and was advised I had to deal with ubereats which obviously wasn't going to work! So, I decided to then ring you directly and spoke to Courtney who was the manager on duty. I got nowhere there either and was told all she could do was have a word with the team. There was no attempt to take my details and investigate to come back to me when she couldn't find the details she needed on her system, and when I suggested doing that I was informed that she wouldn't be able to do anything about it anyway. My options are rapidly disappearing so I have contacted my bank who have advised me that once the payment clears, I can then raise a dispute and this is something they regularly have to do with mcdonalds deliveries because neither mcdonalds or uber eats will take responsibility for subpar food. Really very disappointing from such a large company. So, here I find myself writing a review in the hope that this issue will reach someone who actually gives a toss about the people who keep them in business! I will go down the dispute route with the bank if I have to as the food had to be binned due to being inedible on arrival. If I can resolve this directly with you, that would be appreciated. As I explained to both Ubereats and yourselves, I don't expect a refund on the milkshake. Just the items that should have been hot.
I leave this in what I hope are very capable hands and hope to...
Read moreConstantly getting orders wrong , half the time food is missing , and if you add extras , especially ones you paid for or you have asked for things taken off your food , they get it wrong or it's just missing , and if you get a flurry now seems pointless cos just all Ice cream and barely anything else and don't get me started on the veggie fingers or veggie deluxe cos of the time you could use them as bouncy balls cos they are that old and you can't seem to even give spoons or jam for your porridge cos on multi visits for breakfast, we have drove off and there no spoon or no jam or syrup ... brilliant when your half way down the motorway and go to eat your porridge ! prices have gone up like everything else, but all McDonald's have seems to gone like this , but the quality and quantity has gone right down hill ( not just this McDonald's). I do think it's absolutely shocking though when you are not letting young people in after 4pm , yes I get there a massive issues with anti social behaviour in the area , but your making the good kids stuffer and your door staff are rude when asking for ID and look at you like your lieing ... and now due to this the ones causing the issues are just hanging around outside , but I get there not much you can do about that , it's just not a place I want to eat in anymore so half the time when things are missing or wrong I don't even bother going in to complain. Sort it out .. cos never used to...
