I am 22 years old and I went to wetherspoons in Cramlington at 10:00pm with my 21 year old boyfriend, when we got there i realised i had forgot my ID so i just said to myself oh well I'll just not drink tonight and just have food, so we went in and sat down at table 20 we looked at the menu and decided what we'd like to eat so we went to the counter, gave our table number and ordered our food then my boyfriend who bought his ID with him asked for a strongbow dark fruits, she asked for both our ID's I said i don't have mine with me I'm not ordering alcohol, so my boyfriend showed his ID and then she said to me because you don't have your ID you can't be in here past 9:00pm which made me feel like i was getting ID'D for food, she spoke to the manager and the manager said "you can stay in here this time because you are ordering food, but if you come back to order food or anything without ID past 9:00pm again you will be kicked out" so all of this just because it was 10:00pm and i was ordering food, but don't worry wetherspoons you've lost 2 customers due to your ridiculous rules about eating food past 9:00pm, me and my boyfriend will not return, if anyone has suffered with this problem at Cramlington wetherspoons I'd recommend going to the seven oaks/the hungry horse in Cramlington they stop severing food at 10:00pm and they close at 11:00pm but if you go to the hungry horse with no ID at any time even if it's 10:30pm for a soft drink THEY DO NOT...
Read morei was just in tonight on the 5th of july 2025 for my boyfriends birthday, i’d be there an hour with table of 6, whom of which i had joined about an hour after they’d gotten there, after i ordered 6 shots of tequila rose for the table to celebrate and i had gone up to the main bar and ask if i could for the shots to be ready so i could bring them over myself, to which i was told aggressively by a woman with dark hair and a pony tail ‘ no ‘ in which i walk away and say back down at my table, when the shots were taken over the woman put them down and said ‘ you are finished tonight if you order any more drinks you’re gone ‘ - i found this shocking as i don’t drink and i hadn’t ordered anything, even a soft drink, since getting there yet i was surrounded by young men who had been drinking all night, if i am being targeted as the only woman there or because i went up to the bar and asked if i could carry the drinks ( which i said i was willing to wait for ) i find this disgusting, as someone who is sober and someone who had ordered a single item for the bar until this moment i want to make it clear that even with an explanation given to this women it clearly wasn’t taken. don’t target young women when you allow young men to drink freely and as long as they want for . she was working tonight had dark hair in a pony tail. god forbid i want to buy my boyfriend and his friends a drink for...
Read moreCan’t believe the customer care at this Wetherspoons. Having sat at a table then ordered 3 meals and drinks for about £30 giving the table number, we sat down with our drinks.Suddenly i think the manager turned up and informed us that that the table had been reserved and paid for by a customer for three o’clock and we would have to vacate the table and find another one. At no stage were we informed of this at time of ordering. Meal delivered and not fully consumed when we were asked to vacate table by the manager, not even offering to help move. We moved and a couple came in who they appear to know got two drinks paying with vouchers and sat at the paid reserved table that still didnt have a reserved notice on it. Having been to many Wetherspoons in the past this one qualifies as the worst for customer satisfaction don’t go unless you book and pay for a table, as you may find yourself eating in...
