What is going on at this store. We went in twice this week and both times the store has been a mess, and in chaos.
They had no trays, which we discovered was because they were all upstairs, dirty, and on a host of uncleared tables. No paper for receipts in the machines so nobody new what order theirs was. Everyone's orders were coming out wrong (more than once per customer) The staff wore no name-badges, and we could hear the kitchen staff mouthing off that it was our fault our order was wrong (it wasn't, he doesn't know the difference between red onion and crispy onions, apparently) The manager, Bobby, (in charge for both these disastrous visits) didn't step in to manage any issues whatsoever, and when she was called over and complained to at length by a customer she just said they were doing their best. Absolutely laughable. And then she sent young lads out to sort things instead of saying a word. They're trying to cheat the McDonald's stats system by immediately printing out all the order receipts, to make it look like they're fast, but that makes the orders show up as ready to the customers, when they aren't AND it means the staff can't see the orders on their screens at the packing area, so they make mistakes every couple of minutes.

However the staff service are another story. We had to wait ages for our order and at the time the restaurant was not busy (In the reasaurant there was only one other customer, whonplaced their order just after us but this is in the restaurant and does not include the drive through service).
When my wife's coffee was finally put on the tray and the member of staff stood staring at it for over a minute. I piped up mentioning that if he added two potions of fries I could be on my way. The dawn of comprehension crossed his face and after several more minutes our order was complete.
I do appreciate that my daughters choice of a plain cheese burger has to be prepared to order but as it seemed to be a white coffee that held up our order, taking over 18 minutes from placing the order to receiving it.
I know McDonalds prides itself in the quality of its coffee (hense all the radio adds) but I had not realised they now crush each bean individually by finger tip, before percolating.
As it was a Pitstop in the middle of a four hour car journey, the delay was not welcome. In fact had we known it would take so long, we would have opted to stop and have a pub lunch, which would likely have been only a little longer.

Read moreThis would be a zero stars review if I could put zero stars. Awful service tonight. Ordered a burger with no lettuce and red onion, sticker on the box said no lettuce or red onion, but burger was still made with red onion and lettuce. They offered to make a new one, but put me at the back of the queue and took over 10 minutes to bring the burger out, whilst the rest of my order went cold. Burger was wrong yet again. This time missing cheese and the crispy onion. Waited another 5 minutes for this to be corrected. The manager Bobby (blonde girl) was the most useless manager I have ever seen. No apology from her, no care in the world and her reply was "we are doing our best" this is not the best service you can provide. If it is, you should be sacked. Whilst in the restaurant another 5 customers had a similar experience. Manager Bobby yet again failed to deal with any of these complaints and kept sending a young boy to deal with the complaints.
Please give better training to your staff. Bobby should not be a manager. It is not the first time I go there on her shift and it is always absolute chaos.
The staff were not wearing their name badges, including the manager. Shocking attitude from all staff including manager, except for one young boy who seemed to be new.
Get this store sorted, it is going downhill...
