Ming's Garden — Restaurant in England

If I could I wouldn’t even rate this restaurant a star from the service and product that I had received last night. I had purchased some food last night which first of all was overpriced for the food we received. When I had opened the bag I was then to se that the staff hadn’t packed the food in a professional manner due to the curry sauce lid not even being placed on properly leading it to spill as I tried to take the food out the bag. Due to the lid not being on correctly the curry sauce had spilt and left me with 2nd degree burns and a 3 hour trip to the hospital. I then proceeded to contact the store today ti allow them ti be away if the situation not wanting anything from it but and apology but this didn’t happen when the rude “manager” proceeded to laugh and not take the situation seriously. I feel humiliated and embarrassed for the company’s they belive this is the right way to speak and handle complaints leading to that I would never return let alone recommend anyone else to. Absolutely shocking customer service and I hope that now the so called manager will now use this review in future and improve his customer service as he lacks in this massively. Only ordered starters in this restaurant thank God. The worst Chinese starters ever. Sesame prawn toast was minced chicken. Burnt toast and oily. A good portion of Satay chicken but the sauce was so bland. How can a Satay sauce not taste of peanuts??? I've eaten crispy wontons all over the world including China and Hong Kong and they have always been prawn. Not here though. Once again they were minced chicken. Not very crispy, more like chicken nuggets. Sooo disappointing. The ribs were tender but tasteless and a tiny portion. Chinese food should be bursting with flavour but this food was so bland and just wrong. I can only assume that some of the good reviews are because there isn't any choice of Chinese restaurants in Falmouth so nothing to compare their food to. Customer service was amazing and we were all put in a good mood by our servers! To top it off, our portions of starters and mains were amazing. We ordered the salt and pepper squid which is one of the best we’ve tasted, as well as the barbecue ribs which had a good balance of flavour.

For mains we ordered the Singaporean chow mein with the coconut chicken curry while my family ordered the king prawns curry which were both fantastic. One also ordered the aromatic duck pancakes which tasted great too and she claims it was the best duck pancakes she’s ever eaten!

Overall it was a great experience- one of the best Chinese restaurant that we’ve ever visited for sure. Would...
