Moors Coffee Shop and Gifts — Restaurant in England

We were there on the first of August 2025, the prices were very high, and not just this shop but all the shops were still capitalising on the Hearbeat theme. However my disgust was while sat in the moors, cafe, we observed something disgusting, the lady serving tea, and cakes, afterbserving our order, she relocated the somewhat dry scones, with jam and cream, to 3 separate plates, and a knife with each for the next custo.er, or for them, when we watched her lick her fingertips for the cream, and jam, that had gotten onto them, and eventualy whipeing her hand with a paper towel, and continue serving others as they came in. Not good. I have left it until now as I have got home, and felt it must be told. And there is NO TOILETS at all at this cafe, your expected to go about 200 to...

Walked in and not busy so had a look at the menu. Quiche, coleslaw and salad £5.50. My husband ordered a tuna melt, salad and coleslaw £6.50 (I think). Service friendly, fairly quick. Unfortunately when mine came I was incredibly underwhelmed. Should of realised for £5.50. Mine looked like a childs portion and came on a white oval plate of....I'm kidding you not...7" width by 4" depth. Quiche was a small round thing no bigger than a muffin, tasty enough....salad wasn't dry (fresh) but again, tiny and no sign of the supposed coleslaw. We have been here previously however hadn't been aware of the racist merchandise.

Clues for the owner that they are reaching for justification are firstly that they have rebranded the dolls as "Jolly Gollies", secondly that they have been removed from the window display and thirdly the desperate pleas for no photography and signs claiming "we are not here to offend".

I am not offended I am ashamed that anybody is going to this length to push their "I'm not racist but..." narrative.

The dolls are made to dehumanise and using this for profit in any century is abhorrent.

You have lost customers, and I hope reviews continue to highlight that this is still taking place and more people vote...
