Morrisons Cafe — Restaurant in England

Came for breakfast, Was first order of the day, yet the security guard who ordered 2 behind us got his food 5 mins before us…. Food came incorrect missing items. Vegan breakfast came with dairy butter. Mushrooms still had dirt on them, tomatoes were 20% water on the plate. Thought why do I even come here every time it’s poor. Large breakfast, bacon cold, sausages looked like they had been cooked for 2 weeks, mushrooms had dirt on them. Table I chose was dirty again we were first in the cafe at least whilst they were serving the security guard rather than me I could clean my own table. Every table in the place is messy chairs are not put back you can see crumbs and dirt on tables, covid gaffa tape line marks still on floor. All in a could be so much better but there clearly is a don’t care not my job mentality within the cafe around service, preparation and food cooking is clear...

Grabbed a few bits of shopping and given the weather, I fancied something hot for lunch - ordered cheesy chips to take away. Didn’t take too long, however a staff member asked me what I was waiting for, told them, only for her to walk away and serve another table their food first, my order was sat there waiting as well. I thought this extremely rude. Why ask me. The atmosphere and feeling from the staff was dull and to be honest the cafe looked dark and dull. The overall look of the chips I got weren’t too bad apart from the cheese wasn’t properly melted and I’m shocked at the amount you get for what you pay and especially considering they’re frozen chips! £3 for the photo attached. Place is understaffed. Website payment doesn't work. Computer payment doesn't work. Person by the till running around like a headless chicken. She takes food out, takes orders, bring food to the table, fix the coffee machine. She deserves a pay rise, a medal and a managerial position as the person currently incharge of the cafe is incompetent. You have 3 staff on a half term weekend and you expect to run a cafe with two people in the kitchen and one to do the rest. Kudos to Hannah and her team. Shame on your manager
