★★★★★ A Gem in Kettering! Morrisons Cafe Delivers!

I recently visited the Morrisons Cafe in Kettering, and I must say, I was thoroughly impressed! From the moment I walked in, I was greeted by a warm and inviting atmosphere. The cafe was spotlessly clean, and there was a lovely buzz of happy customers enjoying their meals.

I ordered the traditional full English breakfast, and it was cooked to perfection. Every item on the plate was high quality, hot, and delicious – the bacon was crispy, the eggs perfectly runny, and the hash browns golden. It's clear they use fresh ingredients.

What truly elevated the experience, however, was the service. The staff were incredibly friendly, efficient, and genuinely seemed to enjoy their work. They were quick to clear tables, ensure everyone had what they needed, and always had a smile. It's rare to find such dedicated service these days.

The prices are also very reasonable, offering fantastic value for money, especially given the portion sizes and quality. It's the perfect spot for a quick bite, a relaxed lunch, or even just a coffee and a chat.

WAS okay - until they did away with the Barista Bar. I asked a staff member why it had been removed and she said it wasn't making enough money, but she added that it hadn't helped that it was never permanently staffed. (Customers had to wait for service until they were noticed by one of the trained barista staff members who then came over). I have made one visit since then to the cafeteria and on that occasion there were hardly any staff at all - meaning a long queue, rubbish on tables and one of the self-service coffee machines had run out of coffee, resulting in even more queuing. Went in last week with my family. Was an absolutely amazing experience. Their was so much accessibility especially for my Grandma who is currently in a wheelchair. The food was piping hot and fresh. Had a lovely conversation with someone called mark at the front counter who I believe was the Manager and had a conversation about how professional the staff was and how polite they were. The cleanliness was astonishing. When my food got served to me by this lovely person called Kai he offered me some sauces and helped my Grandma doing her coffee as she was incapable of doing it herself. I totally recommend going to this Cafe. Cheap. Affordable....
