Moti Raj — Restaurant in England

Was in Ripon for 2 nights 25th & 26th June2021, me and my partner Dawn went to Moti Raj on Saturday 26th. The meal was very very good, the starters Onion Bhagi was one of the best we have had and the Chicken Chatt was great, our main meals King Prawn Buna and Chicken Rogan Josh was excellent also the Nan was done as we asked. The food was watery. The plain man was covered in a disgusting inedible substance that ruined the whole taste and I couldn't even scrape it off and make do it was so foul and polluting the flavour. There was also a problem with one member of staff (white English) who seemed to be fishing for an arguement and he was very racist toward his colleagues which was highly offensive and made me feel very uncomfortable. UPDATE FROM REVIEW BELOW. I’m delighted to say that after speaking to Motiraj management they have redeemed themselves with a wonderful free replacement meal. I hope this is the new standard and I look forward to more like this. Congratulations on your award!

Aweful meal. I live locally to the Motiraj and have enjoyed 2 takeaways prior to this week. I have to say this time it was completely tasteless no spice and reheated duck floating around in a sweet sauce. The only good item was the naan bread. Never again.
