Church Stretton is a pleasant large village / small town at the foot of the Long Mynd and Carding Mill Valley. A good number of independent and charity shops plus a few restaurants and tea rooms.
Mr Bun occupies an attractive double fronted building on the main street with a good array of home baked goodies on display. Part bread shop, part coffee shop, they offer a choice of gluten free cakes to enjoy with tea, coffee or milkshakes. Magazines are provided for those with time on their hands. Read moreVisited Church Stretton for a mini break with friends, and found this little bit of heaven. Where can I start love the sandwiches, talk about filling, wow they are a meal in themselves. The vegetable lattice was out of this world, full of chunky veg, the Cornish pasties and scones were delicious, my partner couldn't eat enough of these, had to hold him back from eating more.
