Very disappointing! Ordered chicken satay for starter , didn’t come out on skewers, came out as a mound of chicken marinated in a type of green coloured curry sauce with peanut sauce on the side ? Odd
Main we ordered crying tiger , chicken masaman and coconut rice I asked for the crying tiger which is supposed to be beef to be lean and no fat , it is supposed to come out sizzling with lots of lovely flavours as I’ve had it before many times, it’s supposed to be one of their specialty dishes!.. what a joke ! It came out , on a small cold plate and it was very grisly and chewy , it was disgusting! The masaman was no better , the chicken did not taste or feel like chicken , it was a slimy strange substitute for chicken , I asked why the chicken was such a strange texture, he said it comes in bags marinated!.. yuk !.. so it’s not even fresh ! .. I told him about the so called beef which is not acceptable, but he just nodded and said thanks for the feedback! .. bill came and he still charged us full price for everything, not even a good gesture of a drink , nothing ! Not great customer service to customers who have not enjoyed their meal, my husband is too polite and just paid These people running this restaurant are buying very cheap poor quality meat and so called chicken, that’s if you can call it that and charging premium prices.. everything is done cheap here , no class or quality!… they give you a kids chewy sweet at the end !.. no thanks ! … I would definitely NOT eat here again and I can’t understand the good reviews and how people can eat that substitute they...
Read moreMy partner and I had a fantastic meal here last night. We opted for one of the set menus.
We started with mixed starters - fresh and tasty. The spring rolls and prawn toast were delicious.
Then came the main dishes... Thai chicken green curry, prawns with basil, beef with ginger and spring onions as well as noodles and steamed rice. Personally, I thought the curry was slightly runny, however it tasted amazingly delicate with a perfect amount of heat. The prawns were great and plentiful and the beef was cooked to perfection. All the vegetables in each of the dishes were still crunchy and fresh.
As each course came out, the staff were full of smiles and were very friendly.
Of course we were asked if we wanted dessert, of course we did! Banana fritters with ice cream... hot, sweet and gorgeous.
I cannot recommend this restaurant...
Read moreA lovely Thai style greeting. We are the only customer's. It's a bit on the chilly side when it comes to the heating aspect. My husband chose the tempura prawns as a starter I chose the mixed starter which should of had the paper prawn but instead I got the tempura and the fish cake was none existing but with that said it was still very tasty. My husband had the sea bass with coriander which he said was delicious. I had the chicken with drunken noodles it was beautifully vibrant and had a good spice to it but the texture of the chicken(boiled) let it down. So it's an okay place to eat. We will go back and try something different as I'm not prepared to...
