I was genuinely excited to enjoy a simple, satisfying meal with my family, but unfortunately, the experience left me deeply disappointed.
From the moment we arrived, the atmosphere felt lifeless. Not a single member of staff smiled or showed any courtesy, which set a disheartening tone for the evening. While the restaurant itself was fairly clean and spacious, and clearly maintained with care, that alone couldn’t make up for the lack of warmth or hospitality.
Service was frustratingly inconsistent. Guests who arrived after us received their meals before we did. I watched our food sit on the shelf for a full ten minutes before it was finally served—some of it arrived cold. One of us had already finished eating while another was still waiting. When we returned a cold dish, it took nearly ten minutes to come back, by which time the rest of us had finished.
The food itself didn’t redeem the experience. A salad priced at nearly £10 was laughably small—essentially a quarter of a lettuce with some dressing. For a chain restaurant, I expected better standards across the board.

Read moreI ordered the Nando’s double chicken breast butterfly burger and it came with one butterfly chicken breast! In fact I ordered two butterfly chicken breast burgers and one butterfly chicken breast meal with sides! I mentioned it to the waiter and he said to me ‘ look there is one breast and there is two breasts ‘, from my vastly culinary food background I said to the waiter that this portion of chicken was of one chicken breast not 2. He then replied no it’s one and two, so I accepted his judgement and finished my meal. Unless the chicken used was of the quail bird variety I would have understood. I did finish the meal as I do not like to make to much of scene with this sort of experience, but I can assure you that there was just one chicken butterfly breast in my burger as you will see in the picture that I will provide. It is a shame because I did like the franchise, I have not visited for some time! I’m not sure if the standards have dropped from the mass publicity in previous years, as of today I was not happy with what I had been served. From this I would not personally recommend nor attend another Nando’s branch. We was told to sit by the door without a choice of choosing were to sit, two white ladies after us were asked where they wanted to sit and all and they didn't even had to do a track and trace before they went in they sat down first then did the track and trace, we couldn't get in without doing she had to make us wait to download the app. Fair play it's rules but it should be to everyone. Funny enough everyone else who was coming in was being asked where they wanted to sit but we wasn't and a few minutes later same thing happened when another group of minority came in they were ushered to sit by the door without the choice to sit where they wanted. Maybe not racism maybe coincidence..I don't know but it just made the whole vibe not pleasant. Nandoes food is always nice, other staff members were nice just one. The manager on the day...
