Nando's Crewe — Restaurant in England

food took ages to arrive, it wasn't that busy . When food arrived it was cold and had to be returned. The whole of Nandos in Crewe inside is dirty. Not filthy, just dirty! The floors need better cleaning. Toilets were a bit dirty. Also we were cold sat inside there eating our food. So make sure to wear warm clothes, have a warm coat or whatever with you. Even in summer a warm cardigan or sweater I'd recommend having with you. I wasn't wowed by my food. And didn't enjoy it much at all, nor did I think it worth what was paid, though it feels slightly healthier than kfc or McDonald's. Personally prefer the Beefeaters food to Nandos food. Much tastier and better value, though not as closeby to me as Nandos is. A bit more effort with the food prep from Nandos would make it much better along with them adhering to requests when they say they will and then don't bother. That little effort would make it nicer. Having the heating up by 2 notches would make it more of an enjoyable experience in Nandos when dining in there. And also if staff didn't just gawp/stare and look boggled would be helpful. Spruce the place up, get rid of miserable depressed brainless looking gawping staff, brighten the place up, make it more inviting and cheerful. Clean up your act or you won't last much longer. Lovely building, all open plan. Clean and tidy areas. There is very limited parking in front, but there are other options round and about available to you. Someone met us at the door, which was nice, but other than to give us a choice of where to sit, there was no other interaction at all! No direction offered, requests or allergy info asked of us. So, having never eaten here before on the menu it said to download the app to order 🙄 - they have free WiFi with a sign in it turns out, but would recommend downloading at home it would be much easier If you prefer this way of ordering - also turned out we could've ordered at a till point but didn't know that until we were waiting for our food and saw people doing it! The app is painfully set out - you are continually scrolling in one big line to get to each category! The food arrived promptly and looked good. I had chicken thighs and my oh had half a chicken - mine was lovely and would recommend, my oh didnt feel the sane about his said it was dry and nothing to write home about. our sides inc. Spicy rice - nice flavour, good portion Peri dusted chips- nice taste, good portion, and fresh Creamy mash - frozen and microwaved so bit disappointed Garlic bread - good portion shame it was so hard I struggled to eat it. I recently visited Nandos on a warm day, and unfortunately, my experience left much to be desired.

The first issue I encountered was the air conditioning being turned off, which made the atmosphere quite uncomfortable. Given the heat outside, it was surprising that the restaurant did not have the foresight to keep the air conditioning running.

To make matters worse, the service was disappointingly slow. It took a whopping 40 minutes for my food to arrive, which is far from ideal, especially considering it was a business day. As a customer, I expected a more efficient service, especially during the lunch rush on a weekday.

Additionally, my drink never arrived, and I had to specifically ask for it. It's disheartening to have to remind the staff about something as basic as a drink order.

When my food finally arrived, I realized that they had gotten my order wrong. I had specifically ordered a lemon and herb chicken, but what arrived at my table was the medium spice version. This mix-up was frustrating, as it meant I couldn't enjoy the dish I had initially chosen. Attention to detail is crucial in the restaurant industry, and this mistake was quite disappointing.
