Visiting a friend in the area and went to Nando's Kettering for dinner. Firstly had to be paged for a table as we were told there was a 35 minute wait, which wasn't an issue as its Friday night and places get busy.
Returned 35 mimutes later and was seated. My friend went up and ordered the full sharing platter with bottoless drinks. We were told there was no glasses as they were in the the dishwasher. 20 minutes later i had to approach the counter as we still hadn't received our glasses, for the staff member behind the counter to walk away from me without acknowledgement. I had to grab staff's attention to get the glasses we were waiting for. I sat at our table observing what was happening as we hadn't received our order, with dirty tables around us that hadn't been cleared since we arrived 30 minutes hence. Now you could forgive this if the place was short-staffed but actually there appeared to be an abundance of staff, they just appeared to not have a clue what they were doing and lacked organisation or effective management.
Overall, service was horrendous, food was left under the food lamp for 20 minutes (staff just stood there looking at orders), when it came food lacked appeal due to looking dried out and also having witness staff cooking wiping their brows and under their nose with back of their arm and hand made me question the restaurant choice. Staff standing around aimlessly without paying attention to their customers. I wouldn't be surprised to hear Nando' s Kettering closing down within 6-12 months if this is the service then plan on...

Restaurant is empty and took 50 mins just for food ! I can see about 15 orders gone for delivery and not even bothered about ours... I had to go and ask someone after 40 mins what was happening and than realised they forgot about our dinner...
Not even an apology or even a complimentary items to apologise. This happened before is rugby as late food over 50 mins and the manager brought us 2 starters just for apologising and we were informed (that's already enough for hungry customers)
I been to soo many Nandos across Englad this is the worst ever....
Anyone managing this ? They seems all young kids and no one to manage them.. I understand maybe is tiring working there but not following standard easy hygiene regulations is not OK...
If was busy I get it, but if restaurant has less than 8 people and they are just standing there doing nothing and talking is bad!

I'm vegetarian and have had this wrap many times in various Nandos. There was just one tiny piece of Halloumi in the wrap. When I called the waitress and told her she went to check with the chef who claimed that this is how it was meant to be. I told her the Chef was wrong and the manager came over. She said she would arrange a refund and have another ready but it would take 15 minutes. The rest of the family were already a quarter of the way through their meals which would mean that they would be almost finished by the time it came. So I returned the other wrap and said to do a take a way on the new wrap. The Manager refunded the wrap amount but after waiting 25 minutes there was no sign of the take away wrap. Staff were avoiding walking near our table or walking past quickly. The queue at the tills was long by this time and I was fed up so we just decided to leave. Went home and made myself something to eat. Kind of defeats the reason we went out in the first place. Not very happy about the situation and would definitely prefer a different...
