Waited in the que for a table for around 30 minutes we then got seated at a table which was basically shoulder to shoulder with the stranger sat next to me. We then had to go and Que up at the till to place a food order, after waiting in the que for 15 minutes as there was only one member of staff on the tills I was then told that there was no creamy mash and also no spicy rice , this was a disappointment as it was tea time on Wednesday and we did not expect the restaurant to have ran out of such popular food. After a busy weekend and limited places open I went here Sunday afternoon expecting the massive queues as I was used to when I’d been before years ago. Having moved from the area I’ve not been in years I was surprised to be seated straight away. Customer service was excellent very attentive and generous with the nuts and olives for starters. Read moreThe website for this restaurant is not helpful because we couldn't place an order online just before 10pm. So we walked in and were served without fuss. This is a Nando's characteristic - artistic paintings on the walls, much wood or timber, maybe oak, everywhere. Low lights. Dim lights. The secret is in the actual live grilling on fire, not really coal, but fire all the same. And in the herbs. The peri peri is almost everywhere as standard. Make sure you ask the staff to avoid some of the stuff when you place your order. This is worth a second visit, just in case you want to try lemon and herbs plainish instead...
