A lovely place with a good choice of tempting tasties and drinks. Dogs are welcomed which is a huge plus but there is outside seating if busy inside or you think puppy might get in the way? Service was very good, smiles abound. Food was delicious, we had crab sandwiches which came with crisps and a small salad. Cake soon followed (lemon and carrot!) which were also very good. There is parking along the street outside the premises. All in all a success for the stomach and I would recommend.

A lovely little Tea room / cafe & bistro in Alnmouth village. Cute from the outside too. Seating inside, has about 7 tables, always busy and people waiting, tables outside too. Staff were polite & friendly. I had the crab sandwich with side salad and Cappuccino and my hubby had scramble eggs on toast with a bottled water. £17.85 I think a great price. Food very tasty. Very clean I will definitely be back when I next come to the area.

Lovely tea room with friendly staff plus dog friendly. I got the triple chocolate brownie which was really nice as was the cappuccino. Service is a little slow but think that's cause it's so busy and they have three seating areas... outside and two inside but not in sight of each other. The outside area is also covered so handy if like today the weather is not nice! Overall very nice, would go again :)

Well I'm sorry to be disagreeable! but you can only speak as you find. When my missus and I visited this place we didn't want to sit next to a gang of women of a certain age making an almighty racket. Yet another encounter with the Geriatric Mafia who seem to manifest in all coffee houses these days! So we sat in the back room which wiffed a bit of mould and damp. I ordered a flat white coffee, the missus a cappuccino, both tasted hand made, ie nothing like Costa or Starbucks. The scones that we ordered were not freshly made, probably defrosted, but also tasteless and too crumbly. 2 scones and 2 coffees came to just under £10. The staff were ok, but very "take it or leave it" in their attitude.... we won't be back, and if your a fan of the place, then your very...

We visited this lovely Tea Room today after a windy walk on the beach. Dogs are welcome inside and out, but inside they've got to be kept on a short lead.

After quickly looking at the menu (which also caters for those who need a gluten free option) I fancied a Cream Tea and the other half opted for a Hot Beef Stottie with gravy; that sounded lovely, so I ordered one as well.

All I will say is... You won't be disappointed. The Stottie was soft and fluffy and the lashings of gravy soaked into it beautifully. It was a very welcome bite to eat on a windy day.

I did get my Cream Tea as well though and the scone was lovely and warm and very tasty.

I'd thoroughly recommend the Tea Shop, lovely food, dogs allowed and very...

We visited for lunch (family of four) and all found something to suit. My husband really enjoyed his breakfast stottie, filled with plenty of filling. My tuna sandwich was nice, served with a lovely fresh side salad and crisps; only issue was that there was too much butter (but this is something I’d easily ask to change next time). The scrambled egg on toast was a good portion and very tasty. Tuna melt toastie was excellent too. The small let-down were the scones; both fruit and cheese were very dry, but they did provide plenty of clotted cream or butter.

Service was excellent and they clearly work very hard. It’s a lovely cafe. Next time we’re trying the cakes, which look fabulous and made by a...
