A five-star coastal masterpiece — food, atmosphere, and soul all rolled into one. Nauti But Ice isn’t just a café — it’s an experience. The kind of place where time slows down, the sea sparkles, and every bite, every smile, and every song hits just right.
From the moment we stepped through the door, we were welcomed like old friends. Lily and Emily, were absolute rays of sunshine — effortlessly balancing charm, professionalism, and that extra sparkle that turns a good visit into an unforgettable one.
And let’s not forget the masterminds behind it all — Dave and Lucy (I think thats what they said their names were !), who clearly run this beloved spot like a well-oiled, joy-filled machine.
Then we moved across to their pizza side. Oh. My. Days. Dan Dan the Pizza Man is nothing short of a local legend. His pizza creations are a thing of beauty — crispy, chewy, flavour-packed slices of heaven. He’s not just making pizza — he’s conducting a full-blown flavour symphony. And we can’t go without giving a massive shoutout to Fred, who served us with warmth and professionalism.
And then — as if the sea view, the food, and the welcome weren’t already perfect — the music.
The playlist was a stroke of genius. Not just background noise — it was a curated emotional journey. When “And a Bang on the Ear” by The Waterboys started playing, it felt like the whole harbour took a breath and joined the rhythm. That rich, rolling melody drifting out over the tables as the waves lapped nearby? It was cinematic. Romantic. Like something out of a film where everything comes together in a single, golden moment.
It wasn’t just a meal. It was a memory — stitched together by great food, lovely people, and one absolutely iconic song.
If you find yourself in Cornwall and don’t visit Nauti But Ice and Dan Dan’s pizza paradise, you are genuinely missing out on one of the south coast’s most heartwarming, delicious, and soulful experiences.

Read moreGreat coffee, great location and view completely spoiled by the crass rudeness of a short, blondish/light brownish female staff member who, for whatever reason, didn't want to actually speak to me, or look at me, while she served me. No matter how polite I was, I couldn't get a please or thank you out of her nor, indeed, a single word during the whole transaction. They operate a loyalty card system for coffees. After I'd paid, I asked if she could stamp my card. She ignored me, served cake to someone else, then finally stamped my card after making a point of keeping me waiting..... again all without a word from her. I was nothing but polite and don't understand this kind of attitude. An experience like that can really...
