Ozzy's — Restaurant in England

Brilliant cafe with lovely food and fantastic friendly service! We came here for brunch, I went for cheese and mushroom omlette with chips and beans. The omelette was delicious, cooked really well, nice and fluffy with a good amount of mushroom and cheese. The chips were cooked well, not too oily, and the beans were really tasty, too. My wife went for the 'pick your own' breakfast. She got two eggs, a sausage, 2 bacon, 2 hashbrowns, mushrooms, and 2 white toast. She said it was all cooked really well and tasted delicious. We both really enjoyed it, and also like how friendly and efficient the staff were. It's table service, you find your seat, menus are on the tables, and they come round to take your order and bring the food and drinks to you. Ozzy's is one of those cafes that you can't help but love. It has a feel good factor about it. A cosy place to drop into on a rainy day, a cold day, a windy day. It is also nice in the summer too! It isn't fancy. The menu is quite big, but very down to earth. There are a good choice of breakfasts that are served throughout the day. There are some choices for healthy eaters too. If you just fancy a cuppa and a sit down, the mugs of tea are big and strong. The staff are efficient, friendly and the service is quick. Toilets are available but if you have a few miles on the clock, as I do, bear in mind that they are on the first floor. Give Ozzy's a visit. It is one of Crewe's little gems. Made to wait over 40 minutes for food (which still didn't come) without anyone checking on us and multiple people who had been served who arrived after us. Only when we stood up to leave did they ask if everything was ok, to which we replied no, it isn't as we weren't served what we ordered and had been waiting over 40 minutes, they responded "oh, you haven't been served? It might have been a mistake." Consulting the person who served us, who looked clueless and he then just shrugged his arms. Would not recommend this place if you value your time. Might have been a one off, but that doesn't excuse...
