Panda Panda — Restaurant in England

I have been to this restaurant a couple of times for a meal and ordered takeaway too and always been happy but tonight was an absolute farce! We booked a table for half past 7 to celebrate my aunties birthday but due to complete greed on the owners part they have either taken too many bookings or let too many walk in with the Eat Out to Help Out scheme. It took until 8.40pm for them to seat us and we had to shout to them and ask them to take our orders or said we would have to leave because we had taxis booked home and two 1 year old babies with us. It is now 9.05, we are waiting on our food and have two screaming babies who are exhausted because by now we should have been almost finished our meals. There are other people who booked tables with young children who also have had to wait ridiculous amounts of time for their tables. After this experience I will not be returning. The one star I have given is for the two English girls working as a waitress and in the bar who have been getting all the anger from customers while the owners hide in the back!

Further edit: just after posting this review the man running the restaurant came over to us and said they had LOST our order! There was 8 adults that had ordered so it was two or three sheets or the order pad! How do you lose that?! So we had to totally reorder and watch people who were seated after us getting their food. I also spoke to a lady at the bar who was booked in for 7:15 and after 9pm they had only had their starters! She spoke to the manager and was very unhappy and had to have a real go at him.

Finally we had to get our food to takeaway as our taxi turned up and had to sit and wait for us to get our food packed up. The manager gave us a further discount on top of the Eat Out to Help Out scheme but in my opinion after all that halle Ed put food should...

Nice reasonable priced restaurant. Cash only so be prepared. Décor still a little pub like, which is what it was before it became a Chinese restaurant. Waitress most pleasant attentive and helpful. Dining plates were hot when brought out but had cooled down to just warm by time the food was brought. A shorter time between dining plates and food arriving would be an improvement. Food nice and tasty and plentiful, just a little bit light on the amount of sauce provided with our dishes. Parking is limited outside but plenty just around the corner beside the bus station. Free after 6pm at time of writing. Definitely will return. After frequent visits still excellent food and service. A must visit for anyone who enjoys excellent...

DO NOT RECOMMEND Absolutely disgusting doesn’t even deserve 1 star. It took 1hr 45min to arrive. Once we finally got our food it was stone cold the chicken and black bean sauce was something I can’t even describe. Salt and pepper chicken had not even seen a spice, Salt and pepper chips tasted like they had been microwaved 5 times. Egg fried rice did not look right and the chicken in chow mein was mushy. I wouldn’t have even fed it to my dog. We bagged all the food back up rang and asked for a full refund. We got our refund and we were told to tell them next time if we wanted our food with more of a kick to let them know. Sorry it was our first and last time we will order again vile...
