Great taste, but extremely irresponsible and poor service. The taste of Pizza is very good, but frustration is guaranteed with their poor service especially if you call them for anything. I ordered pizza and there is a delay of 2 hours for delivery, but the staff over there did not bother to give a courtesy call to mention about it. I was simply waiting for the pizzas that I ordered, after one hour, when I called, the lady informed that there is another hour delay and simply asked me if I would I like to cancel the order. This is not the first time that I had this poor service from them. In the past, when I ordered from my friend's house, although I clearly mentioned about the change in address, they messed it up. The persons who receive the calls are extremely poor at understanding the customers, don't know if it is due to their inability or due to the poor reception of voice due to surrounding noise etc. Consider yourself lucky if you get the order rightly delivered to your home without any of these issues. Read moreI am furious with the customer service at the store. I phoned in after an hour of my order confirmation coming through as there had been no updates on my order other than 'order placed'. When I called, they said they hadn't received it and there must be technical issues so they would call the area manager. I asked if they would take my number to call me back when they had an update but they said no, I had to call them. So I called back and spoken to a different person and he told me to email the confirmation through so that they could check. He repeatedly gave me the wrong email address, so after 5 attempts at the email, I said I'll come and collect to make it easier and show them when I get there. I explained that I'd give my order so they can start preparing as I live 10 mins away. He refused to start until I'd shown him the email. I explained that I didn't think my request was unreasonable considering the time I've waited already. He still refused, so I asked for a refund and he just told me to go on the app and do it, which I still haven't worked...

The delivery man was a genuinely helpful guy who apologised explaining there was a mix up of drivers and advised us to phone the store as it wasn’t acceptable. We took his advice. The girl who answered the phone was cocky, rude, condescending and argumentative. She had no idea how to correctly handle a genuine complaint in the customer service industry. Apparently ‘papa johns can’t control the temperature of a pizza cooling’ (wowza, here’s an idea, don’t leave it under the heat lamp for 45 minutes then give it to the wrong driver?) ‘We were lying about our wait time’ (we had an email of confirmation when ordered) and a free pizza next time is ‘a great deal so why were we complaining’ (because we wasted our money and clearly won’t be coming back to you or your staffs attitude- free or not).
